Jack lived in a charming neighborhood at the end of a street called sunshine lane. Everyday at Jack's house the sun would shine through the windows and make Jack very happy. The first thing Jack would do was run outside to play in his sandbox. Nothing made him happier than playing outside in the sun everyday.

However this morning when Jack woke up it was gloomy outside. this made Jack sad. So that day Jack didn't play in his yard, instead he stayed indoors and stared outside into the storm. The next day Jack finished breakfast and like always headed out into the yard to play. As he opened the door his heart sank, for it was another cloudy day. Jack started to become quiet and non responsive to everything.
This made Jacks's mom and dad very worried, for this was not the Jack they knew. They asked each other ''what's wrong with him" As time went on Jack started developing new symptoms. He started having trouble sleeping at night, he went from being happy to irritable and tense. Another symptom Jack displayed was having a hard time concentrating. Jack had an overwhelming feeling that something bad was going to happen everyday.
Eventually his symptoms got so bad that his parents decided it was time to do something. They called the family doctor and explained Jack's symptoms. The doctor wanted to see Him, so they next day they went. After sitting down and talking to Jack the doctor was able to determine their was nothing physically wrong with Jack. The doctor left the room and came back a little bit later with a diagnostic. He said ''Jack is suffering from Anxiety''.
After hearing this Jack's Parents were shocked. They couldn't believe this had happened and they never noticed. The doctor calmed them down and started to tell them about possible treatment. The doctor subscribed talking to a therapist, trying breathing exercises and writing down Jacks feelings in a diary. Jack and his parents went home and were hopeful he would start to feel happy again.
Many weeks passed and Jack had been trying very hard with his exercises. He also was seeing his therapist once a week. It had been hard work and a rough journey, but soon Jack started seeing results. He felt more at ease and less tense, he even started sleeping again. While Jack still struggles with anxiety to this day, he now knows he can overcome it and that he doesn't have to make the journey alone.
