Science class at school continued with excitement. Joe was counting the names of extinct animals, looking at Lucy from time to time. Lucy and Mary were also listening to their teacher in astonishment.

After class ended, Joe, Lucy and Mary went to the canteen. They were all very good friends. The lesson attracted their attention. These close friends started talking about dinosaurs. Their teacher talked about 3 theories about the extinction of dinosaurs.

 Mary:

"I wish I could see dinosaurs," she said.

Then Lucy:

-"Then I will take you somewhere, but get permission from your parents after school. Because I want to show you something that my grandfather keeps in his garage." she said.

SCHOOL CANTEEN

LUCY'S GRANDPARENT'S HOME

Mary and Joe got permission from their families and went to Lucy's grandfather's house. Lucy was living with her grandfather and grandmother because her parents died. The children ate cake made by Lucy's grandmother and drank lemonade. Then, because Lucy's grandmother and grandfather were old, they fell asleep while watching television.

When Lucy's grandfather and grandmother were asleep, the children sneaked into her grandfather's garage. Lucy's grandfather was a physics engineer who worked in the military many years ago. And she invented a time machine. Lucy heard this information while her grandfather was talking to his friends.

TIME MACHINE

TIME TRAVELLING

The children were very surprised when they saw the time machine. But they were also a little afraid. Lucy had heard how to use it from her grandfather. Joe:

- "I can't believe it. Now we can go back to the time when dinosaurs lived." said.

Mary:

-"I can't wait to see the dinosaurs. Let's go." she said.

The children got into the time machine. Lucy set the time machine to 250 million years ago. And she started the time machine.

The children suddenly found themselves in a completely different world. There were no houses or buildings anywhere. Everywhere was covered with forests and water. There were huge trees. They were shocked by what they saw. Dinosaurs with wings were flying overhead.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF DINOSAURS

HERBIVORES

Next to the children, herbivorous dinosaurs with long necks were eating leaves. These herbivores were taller than the children expected. The children were both very happy with what they saw and could not get out of the machine out of fear.

"Let's go and take a closer look at these dinosaurs," said Joe. Then they all got out of the time machine and started walking deeper into the forest. They followed the herbivorous dinosaurs without being seen by them. They were very thirsty. There was a stream ahead. It was a little far and dangerous, but they needed to drink water.

THIRST

CARNIVORE

They went to the water. Herbivores were drinking water. They started drinking water with their hands because they knew that herbivores would not harm them. Suddenly, the T-rex's shadow was reflected in the water and the herbivores quickly ran away. They knew that T-rex were carnivorous and could eat them. Lucy shouted: "Run away!"

THE END

The children  ran to the time machine together. T Rex followed them. While entering the time machine, Mary fell. Luckily, Joe grabbed his hand and immediately put him into the time machine. They came face to face with the T-rex. Lucy quickly set the time machine to 2024. When they returned, Lucy's grandfather and grandmother were still asleep. This adventure ended here.
