Once upon a time, there was a group of animals in the Enchanted Forest. The animals lived happily in the Enchanted Forest with one another. Every year, the animals held a show and the hippo family members were the judges in charge of the show. When the show was over, the hippos chose some excellent animal singers to become the next big stars for the year in the Enchanted Forest 

Mr. Lion and Mr. Fox were chosen to be the biggest stars for the year in the Enchanted Forest. Whenever they performed, a group of younger animals followed them and cheered.  Mr. Tiger and Mr. Fox were so proud of their success.

However, in a quiet corner of the forest, there was a little pink unicorn called Coco, who was holding her guitar and practicing her own songs. Whenever Coco got discouraged, she looked at her posters of Mr. Fox and Mr. Tiger on the wall and hoped that one day she could be the star of the Enchanted Forest just like them.

One day, Coco received an invitation to perform at a cafe in the Enchanted Forest. All the animals were very surprised when they heard Coco sing because her voice was amazing. No one noticed that in the corner of the room, the hippo, Scar, sat and watched Coco’s entire show. 

After Coco received all of the recognition and support from Scar and the animals , she was very happy.  Coco signed a contract with Scar to be her manager, and she continued to work hard to improve her creative abilities and vocal skills. Coco began to feel that she was  about to become the new super star of the Enchanted Forest.

A year passed quickly, and it was time for the next contest in the Enchanted Forest. The Hippo family would judge the animals as usual  and  select a new big star. At this time, Coco had become the most popular singer in the entire  forest, and she finally had the chance for her dream to come true

After each animal competed, it was time for the award ceremony.  Before the award ceremony started, the Hippo family secretly gathered together backstage to discuss Coco.  Some members thought Coco should win but the gray hippo, the eldest member and leader of the family, asked in confusion "Why her?”

Scar said in confidence “Coco is my star as she is indeed the best performer, and the most popular in the forest”.

The gray hippo spoke again and said "Coco is a girl and she looks very delicate and not brave at all”. He asked “How can she represent the Enchanted Forest? Look at Mr. Fox and Mr. Tiger as they are strong and powerful. They are the typical stars of the Enchanted Forest".

It was finally time for the award ceremony and Coco to have her chance to win. The animal presenting the award was Mr. Fox, a true idol of Coco’s. As the Hippo family declared the winner, they announced Coco’s name.  But something suddenly unexpected happened.

As Coco took the trophy and went to hug Mr. Fox, he pushed her away with no mercy. 

Mr. Fox shouted “You don't belong here”.   

"All the stars of the Enchanted Forest are men, and strong, like Mr. Tiger and me. You cannot represent the Enchanted Forest because you are just a little girl. I don’t know what was going on with the Hippo family choosing you as a star.  We don't need little girls to perform here in our forest!"

Mr. Fox turned around and walked off the stage with the trophy, leaving Coco alone on the stage. Coco could hardly stand up, and there was an outpour of noise from the audience telling her to get off the stage. Coco had no idea what she was going to do. She didn't know whether the audience was belittling her or laughing at her.

Scar replied "You can quit if you want, but all the musics you created belongs to the Hippo family, and every time you perform these musics publicly in the future, you will need to pay us because the music belongs to us. Don't forget that my family and I made all of the things happen for you! You can choose to stay and work through the situation or leave without achieving anything just like Miss Parrot did before."  

Coco ran off the stage crying. As she wiped away her tears, Coco found Scar and said she wanted to end her music career and no longer wanted to work with him.

After returning home, Coco was sad and so disappointed that she threw her musics and guitar to the corner of the room. Coco felt that her life was at the lowest point, and she felt darkness and despair as she had never faced before. Coco leaned against the window and fell asleep.

It was already evening when Coco woke up and found a bird quietly perched on her side, it was Miss Parrot!

When Coco saw Miss Parrot, she instantly cried.

"You know Miss Parrot; they took my trophy and all my music...how could they do this to me...it's so unfair..." confided Coco.

"I understand, I understand, I was in the tree today and saw what happened at the ceremony.  I'm sorry you're going through this pain" Miss Parrot said softly.

Miss Parrot continued and said "Many years ago I was like you. The Hippo family also took away my music when I wasn't going to obey them. I used to love music just like you”.  

Miss Parrot sighed, "Weak animals like us, girls, don't have the power to fight back. Anyone can take something that belongs to us and we don’t have a choice. If you want to become a big star in this forest, you have to make a deal with Scar and the Hippo family because they are in charge of everything here. But, if you accept their help, in the end you will belong to them and they will control you. The Hippo family does this to all the animals, but to make matters worse, they don’t have any respect for women.

"Is it true that no one is willing to change this situation? Is it right that it has always been so difficult?" asked Coco.

"Things will not change unless someone is willing to stand up and make the change. I am too old and I guess there is very little I can do to help you," Miss Parrot replied.

Coco suddenly realized something. She suddenly understood the importance of her mission.
