Once upon a time, there was a girl called Brooke Maison. She was a lovely, 8-year-old girl who loved playing with her dog, Paddington. Every afternoon, Brooke and Paddington would go to Central Park. Paddington, a fun and playful dog, liked playing catch with Brooke.

Wow!

But one day, they decided to explore a different park instead of Central park. This park was a local one where surprisingly, none of them went before. As they arrived in the Park, Brooke’s attention was immediately drawn to a large, purple slide with some yellow funny spots. She felt as if it was calling her name. Not thinking much out of it, she called for Paddington to go down the slide.
“Paddington, come!” She exclaimed.
Paddington happily bounded over to her, wagging his tail. Brooke, scratching his back, asked if he wanted to go down the slide.
“Good boy!” She said, giving him a treat.

Paddington sat with Brooke in the slide. As they were going down, suddenly she felt a strange sensation. The slide seemed to never end, and Brooke couldn’t see Paddington either. Panicking, she started calling for his name.
“Paddington! Paddington! Where are you?” She shouted, worried.
Suddenly, a bright yellow light appeared, completely covering Brooke’s body. When the slide ended, Brooke fell to the floor.
A slight bark is heard from the distance. Brooke starts shouting Paddington’s name. To her surprise, those barks were getting louder and louder, meaning that Paddington was somewhere near. But, strangely, Brooke felt like she could understand him. Like she could understand what Paddington was saying.
“WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!” Paddington barks. “WOO-LLO! HELLO! HELLO!”

Brooke Gasped.
"Oh, my God!" Brooke shouted. "Paddington, you can speak English!" Brooke paused to control herself. "I-I can’t believe it! "
“Wh-what?” Paddington asked. “What do you mean? You’re the one who is speaking dog!”
Brooke shrugged. They both looked at each other, and then at what was surrounding them.
Brooke’s heart stopped as she realized that she was actually trapped in a world full of dogs. What was once one of her favorite animals all of a sudden turned into her worst nightmare. Every corner was filled with those canines, wagging their tails and growling. For their luck, none of them had noticed Brooke and Paddington yet!

The days pass, and they're both still trapped there. One day, they wake up from their “bed” and saw a poodle that was running towards Brooke. Her white fluff was bouncing all over her body, her ears going up and down. Paddington noticed that and quickly, he started running to where the poodle was to make it stop. They both crashed onto each other.
“What’s wrong with you! Why did you do that?” The poodle asked.
Paddington, clueless, looks back at Brooke. They both stay quiet, thinking for a bit.
“So?” The poodle asked.

Brooke gulped nervously.
“Okay, look. My name is Brooke, he is Paddington and we’re both trapped here! I don’t know where I am, he doesn’t know either and I’m really tired and scared.” She said quickly.
