I'm worried about 2nd grade, but am filled with excitement right now! Summer just started, and I don't care where I am. I'm always happy, and nothing could take that away from me. 

    I have missed Ocean City, NJ; I've missed this place! My family and I will get ice cream after playing on the beach! I will probably get a Chocolate & Vanilla swirl cone. What is Logan going to get?

     I already know what my dad will get; he gets the same thing every time—just a plain chocolate cone. 

I remember back home before we left to go to Ocean City, my dad was concerned about potential "stranger danger," but I think he overreacted. We are now walking on the boardwalk for the ice cream! I'm so excited! I'm going up the boardwalk now and see this guy, who I find very scary.

     It's alright, though! Despite his menacing appearance, I don't think he'll be a bad guy, but how he looked at me felt like he stared deep into my soul. 

    Maybe he has low blood sugar or something! My dad has told me about scary people like this, but I think he's wrong. 

    My family and I are still walking to Khor Bros for summy delectable ice cream, but I can't get that suspicious stare out of my head. 

    We were approaching the ice cream place, and I saw the same scary-looking guy passing by, giving me the same menacing look!

     Maybe he's up to something, but it's doubtful because my dad has made me very suspicious of many people, and this may be no different. 

I hate how he looks at me so much. Alright, we got our ice cream, and I am enlightened! I'm playing with my cousins and playing with them, and I'm just super happy! 

    We are starting to hang off the railings, dangling our feet off the boardwalk, and are tempted to jump off the sand. I dared to do so, and I did! 

    I was flopping all over the sand, causing a stir under the boardwalk. 

    It's very dark and quiet. Very eerie. My ears focus on a distant noise as I turn my head to investigate this absurd ambiance, only to see the same creepy guy from earlier with the same heart-stopping stare as he slowly approaches me with this inexplicable face.
