A village name Malgudi , there lived a wealthy family who were also the sarpanch of the village ,named Patankars . They had lots of field and their house was filled with servants to do all the work.
Sarpanch was very generous , he looked after his family and the people lived in his village admired him for his work.
One day when he went to visit his field with his daughter named Savi . Savi saw all the workers working in the field and their children too working in the field.

" No my dear , they don't , they don't have money whatever they earn from working that is only enough for their food not much.
Savi asked her father , " why are the children working here papa? , They do not go to school as I do?

Savi became sad on the thought of that the children of her age are working in the field instead of studying in the school.
While returning home she saw many children in the field than in the school.
The next day savi went to her school thinking of yesterday's incident. The first was history period which was thought by her favorite sir Mr. Nayyar .

The enthusiasm of learning was only seen during Mr. Nayyar's class. Though history is theoretical or boring, but Mr Nayyar's teaching made it so interesting that students loved to hear him.

"So my dear students today we are going to learn a very important topic in Civics which is Right to Education". By hearing the topic name , Savi 's ear arouse .
Then sir began to teach the students what is exactly the right of education who can have it and in our constitution what does it signifies.
As the discussion ended with the school bell, the period got over, but the thoughts of Savi didn't.
As soon as the bell rang she went to talk with Mr. Nayyar about the children she saw yesterday working in the field.
"Sir, sir please wait I want to talk to you about something," said Savi. " Yes my dear what is it?
"Sir what we had learnt today helped me to solve my problem. I want to know more about the Right to Education," said Savi curiously.
"Why Savi and what was the problem?" asked sir.
Savi conveyed all the experiences, she had yesterday during her field visit.
" I see. This is the matter. Come let me tell you more about our Right to education."
." Our Indian Constitution states that According Constitution (Eighty-sixth Amendment) Act, 2002 inserted Article 21-A in the Constitution of India to provide free and compulsory education of all children in the age group of six to fourteen years as a Fundamental Right in such a manner as the State may, by law, determine.
The Act makes education a fundamental right of every child between the ages of 6 and 14 and specifies minimum norms in elementary school."

After listening, savi jumped up with joy as she had struck by an amazing idea .
" Sir can I request you one thing ?" asked savi .
" Sir can we please help the children out there who are working tirelessly in the sun , don't you think that they should also get education like me , they are also same age as I am . It is so unfair for them . " said savi sadly .
