Allegory
Allegory is a figure of speech in which abstract ideas and principles are described in terms of characters, figures, and events.
It can be employed in prose and poetry to tell a story, with a purpose of teaching or explaining an idea or a principle. The objective of its use is to teach some kind of a moral lesson.

In the heart of Whisperwood Forest, nestled amongst towering oaks and babbling brooks, resided two very different communities: the Groundburrow Badgers and the Cloudreach Eagles.
The Groundburrow Badgers were a stout and practical bunch. Led by the formidable Constantia, a badger with fur the color of aged earth, they thrived on routine. Their days were filled with the steady rhythm of digging dens, foraging for berries, and grumbling about the weather. The badgers thrived on predictability. Anything new was met with furrowed brows and grumbled warnings about unsettling the burrow's rhythm.
High above, in aerie castles woven from windswept branches, lived the Cloudreach Eagles. These sleek birds, led by the audacious Icarus, with feathers the color of a summer sky, were all about innovation. They spent their days soaring through thermals, experimenting with new hunting techniques, and complaining loudly about the lack of decent Wi-Fi reception in the forest. Tradition? Pah!
One crisp morning, Constantia the Badger emerged from her burrow, blinking in the sunlight, to find a most peculiar sight. A bright orange parachute, tangled in the branches of a nearby oak, held a very disgruntled-looking young eagle. It was Nova, Icarus' nephew, notorious for his daredevil stunts.
"Well, this is just perfect," Constantia muttered, heaving a sigh. "Lost, are we?"
Nova, feathers ruffled and pride wounded, squawked, "Lost? I am not lost! I am exploring uncharted territory, broadening my horizons!"
Constantia snorted. "Broadening your horizons by crashing into a tree? Sounds about as good as you wanted it to."
Thus began a most unlikely friendship. Constantia, ever pragmatic, helped Nova down. Nova, in turn, regaled her with tales of the wonders above the clouds: the breathtaking sunrises, the sense of endless possibility. Constantia, to her surprise, found herself captivated.
