In a peaceful village, there lived a young girl named Mei. Mei was known for her gentle spirit and her love for tending to the village garden, where flowers bloomed in vibrant colors under the warm sun.

One day. a great drought descended upon the village, withering the crops and turning the once-lush fields into a wasteland. The villagers grew worried about their survival, their hearts heavy with worry for the future as water had not appeared for years. The villagers were only using the leftover water supply to survive slowly draining over time.

That was an interesting book

Mei hated to see the once beautiful village wither into pieces. She goes to her collection of books to get some book to get an idea of how she can fix the drought in the village bringing back the beautiful village that existed. Mei found several solutions at the end of the night. She will tell the solutions to villagers in the following day but before that she will have a good night sleep.

Mei gathers the people of the village into an empty field near the town. Mei suggests adopting one of Confucius's ideas, social harmony, which helped end the period of warring states in China. (Khan Academy) encouraging the villagers to work as one big family, supporting each other through difficult times. (Ren)

Guys Mei is right let's work together from today forward and bring water to the village

Through Mei's encouraging words, the villagers set aside their differences and united together, ready to face the challenges ahead and overcome the drought.

After reading one of Zhang Daoling's teachings in one of her books. Mei decides to introduce the art of wu wei, the art of effortless action, believing that sometimes trying to go with the flow in life can help the villagers' situation instead of going against it. (Joppich) 

The villagers were initially not so convinced about Mei's second teaching but after reading the book for themselves. They were willing to use the teaching to help the village grow trusting that patience would restore the land in due time.
