ZS a MS Lukova - The ogre and sad dragon
Once upon a time there was an ogre. His name is Hammer. He lives in a large dark forest. Hammer is as tall as a fifty-year-old spruce tree. He has a big round head with blue eyes, a big nose, and a mouth without any teeth. He has no hair and he wears a big green hat on his head.
In summer he wears a white undershirt, black and green chequered shirt and blue shorts. He likes walking barefoot. In winter he wears a warm otter coat, black pants and white rabbit snow boots.
He doesn't like people at all but he doesn't mind animals. He lives in a spacious cave. He has everything there he needs - a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. In his small garden he grows potatoes and vegetables from which he cooks soups and porridge. In winter he likes riding his pine snowboard. From spring to autumn he works in the garden, picks up forest fruit and mushrooms and swims in the lake every evening.
Today is a nice afternoon and Hammer is going to cut some wood near his favourite lake. Suddenly, he can hear someone crying. He follows the sound and finds a sad dragon hiding behind some rocks. The dragon feels lonely because he doesn't have any friends. Everyone is scared of him because he's big and looks scary.
Hammer sits down beside the dragon and listens to his story. He understands how the dragon feels because people and some animals are scared of him too. He feels sorry for the dragon. What shall he do? “Don´t be sad, dragon. I can be your friend if you want. We can live, work and play together.” Hammer offers his friendship, and the dragon accepts: “ Really? Are you sure? Then, let's be friends!” From that day on, Hammer and the dragon are best friends. They do everything together.
They explore the forest, wander through hidden trails or discover secret caves. They search for interesting plants and animals, like colorful flowers, friendly squirrels or cunning weasels. They grow vegetables in the garden, cut the woods and pick mushrooms and berries.

ZŠ Bernolákova PRINCESS DIANA AND DRAGON
Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom nestled between rolling green hills and sparkling blue rivers, there lived a kind and gentle princess named Diana. Princess Diana had a heart full of love for all living things, and she spent her days tending to her beautiful gardens and caring for the animals in the forest.

One sunny morning, as Princess Diana was picking flowers by the river, she heard a distant roar. The sound made the birds stop singing and the animals scurry to their homes. With a brave heart, she followed the noise and discovered a cave hidden behind a waterfall. Inside the cave, she found a magnificent dragon with orange scales and eyes that shimmered like the stars.
The dragon, named Drago, was not fierce but sad. He explained to Princess Diana that he had been misunderstood by the villagers, who thought he was dangerous because of his size and strength. In reality, Drago loved the forest and its creatures just as much as Princess Diana did.

Moved by Drago's story, Princess Diana decided to help him. She invited the villagers to the castle and shared Drago’s tale. Some were scared, but Princess Diana assured them that love and kindness could change everything. To prove it, she introduced Drago to the villagers. At first, they were hesitant, but when they saw Drago gently playing with the animals and helping to water the gardens with his big, gentle claws, their fear turned into admiration.Meanwhile, in a neighboring kingdom, there was a brave prince named Alex. Prince Alex heard of Princess Diana’s kindness and the dragon Drago. He traveled through enchanted forests and over misty mountains to meet them.

When he arrived, he was amazed by the harmony between the people, the dragon, and nature.
One day, a terrible storm threatened the kingdom. The rivers overflowed, and the winds howled fiercely. Princess Diana, Prince Alex, and Drago worked together to protect the kingdom. Drago used his mighty wings to shield the villagers from the storm, Princess Diana comforted the frightened children, and Prince Alex led the villagers in building barriers to keep the floodwaters at bay.

After the storm passed, the kingdom was saved, and everyone celebrated together. Princess Diana and Prince Alex fell in love, united by their bravery and love for nature. They were married in a grand ceremony attended by all, including Drago, who was now a beloved guardian of the kingdom.Princess Diana and Prince Alex taught their people the importance of love and protecting nature. They planted more trees, created more gardens, and ensured that the rivers stayed clean. They showed that when we care for each other and the world around us, we create a place where everyone can live happily and peacefully.
And so, the kingdom thrived, full of love, beauty, and harmony, a true testament to the power of protecting both nature and the bonds that connect us all. The end.

ZŠ Komenského: The dwarf of Zborov castle
It was Monday.
Our teacher said: "Tomorrow come to school without your school bags. Let´s go on a trip.
Let´s visit Zborov castle. What do you think?"
The answer was immediately clear. The children were very happy.

The instruction read:
See you early morning at 6 o´clock in the car park in front of the school. Please, bring lunch boxes and drinks. You know, hunger and thirst are not our best friends. Don´t forget your appropriate shoes and a rain coat, as the weather can be rainy! And good mood of course:-)
"We are travelling first by bus, then on foot", said the teacher. "The coach goes at 8 o´clock, so please, don´t be late."
The next morning the weather was beautiful. The sun was shining, there was no cloud in the sky.
