Prologue

This story centers around the deep friendship and adventures of four boys—João, Pedro, Diogo, and Francisco—living in the idyllic town of Fafe. Despite their strong bond, Francisco feels a lingering sense of inadequacy due to his struggles in keeping up with his friends' athletic abilities. The narrative explores themes of friendship, perseverance, and self-discovery as Francisco and his friends embark on a journey that challenges them to redefine their understanding of strength and courage.

Sports Talents of the Friends

In the small town of Fafe, nestled between rolling green hills and whispering woods, lived four inseparable friends: João, Pedro, Diogo, and Francisco. They were a lively bunch, always seeking new adventures to embark upon together. But there was something different about Francisco. While his friends excelled in sports, Francisco struggled to keep up.

João was the fastest sprinter in their class and  was very good at handebol.

Pedro boasted impressive skills on playing tennis, effortlessly  past opponents.

Diogo was the star of  futsal, his precise shots earning him admiration from all. But Francisco? He felt like the odd one out, unable to find his footing in any sport.

Francisco's Struggle

One sunny afternoon, as they lounged beneath the shade of their favorite oak tree, João, Pedro, and Diogo noticed the gloom shadowing Francisco's usually bright demeanor. Concern etched their faces as they exchanged worried glances.

"Hey, Francisco, what's wrong?" João asked gently.

Francisco sighed, kicking at the dirt beneath his shoes. "I don't know guys. I just feel sad."

"Why?" Asked Diogo

"Because I don´t know how to play sports, so the other people bully me because I´m different." Said Francisco.

"But being different is good!" Pedro said.

"But I don't like being different, I want to be like you!" Exclaimed Francisco.

"I think we can help you." Answered Diogo.

After that João, Diogo, Pedro and Francisco went to the sports field to teach Francisco some sports.
