Greyson is a rambunctious, social, and creative seven-year-old boy. He has disheveled brown hair that is starting to form a mullet, chocolate brown eyes that he gets from his grandfather, and wears oversized blue circle glasses with the occasional eye patch to help correct his poor vision. He is tall and skinny, like a string bean that slightly resembles Harry Potter. More than anything, he loves his trusty sidekick Eleanor.

Eleanor is the family dog. She is an Australian Shepard who loves curling up around Greyson's legs at night, scouring the house for crumbs of human food that have been dropped, chasing birds, and fighting crime.

Saturday morning started off just like every other weekend morning. Greyson took advantage of not having to get up early for school and stayed in bed until almost 9 o'clock. He could have stayed in bed all morning but Eleanor bolted out of the room barking loudly enough to wake everyone in the house. Eleanor barking the way she was could only mean one thing, he had returned. Every few days the mailman would bring a package to the house and each time, something terrible would happen. Greyson opened the door and saw the mailman driving away, laughing his evil laugh. Greyson was stumped at how Eleanor knew the mailman's secret hiding place for the packages he would somehow bring without anyone else noticing. This time, it was behind the "welcome" sign on the front porch.

Greyson took the package inside and set it on the counter. Before he could stop her, his sister Copeland began to open it. Her eyes got big as she held up the contents, just a note that said "You'll never catch me!"
Her eyes suddenly got big, she dropped the note, and right away started acting weird. She went to sit on the couch and just sat there staring blankly at the wall. She stopped talking which was exceptionally unusual for her. Greyson looked at Eleanor who looked back at him. What had just happened to Copeland?
For the rest of the afternoon, Copeland didn't move. Her face remained expressionless. "There must have been something on that piece of paper" Greyson whispered to his dog. It was now up to him to figure out why his sister was acting so strangely. He grabbed a pair of tongs from the kitchen and used them to pick up the paper. It had now turned green. The next morning started the same way the previous one had. Eleanor woke Greyson up by barking, letting the entire neighborhood know the mailman was here. This time things were different though. Greyson walked outside to find no package, but saw everyone in the neighborhood lined up behind the mailman's car, slowly walking behind it, including Copeland. All of them had that same empty look on their faces.
