Saturday
So, where do I start…? I was just an ordinary villager, not to long ago. Then, a bald man in brown clothing appeared in my dreams. “You are no ordinary villager,” he’d said. “You are chosen to protect this town.” Then, he sent me on a quest to find some legendary ore I guess. It’s been weeks since I left home, and I recently found an abandoned village. Inside the village, I found this book. Well, after I’d found the village, I ran into a gang of skeletons. They shot me, and I ran into a hole.

So, after a night of hiding in a hole, I decided to start a journal. So, in the evening I ran into a cave, where I am writing this account. I am thinking about my family. I bet they’re worried about me. Well, journal, that’s it
for today. I’m off. See ya!

Sunday
I woke up to the sound of zombies moaning outside the cave. I looked outside and noticed the zombies burning to death. “Haha.” I said. One poofed away, followed by the rest. The zombies dropped lots of rotten flesh, my backup food ever since I’ve been on this adventure.
It’s disgusting! Worst thing I’ve ever
tasted. It tastes like cow vomit. It’s
gross, but if I wanna survive, I have
to keep eating it. After I grabbed the disgusting
meat, I searched for some animals. I was hungry, and I’ll do ANYTHING to keep from eating rotten flesh.

I found some pigs, and drew my iron sword. I chopped at them until they were all raw porkchops in my inventory. I was about to take a bite, but then stopped when I heard a voice. “STOP!!!” I turned around and spotted a person running toward me.
She had a green shirt, brown shorts, and orange/tanish hair.
“Don’t eat raw meat!” She ran up to me and started
panting. “Dude, how long have you been eating raw
meat?” She asked.
I shrugged. “I don’t know. I’ve been out here for a few
weeks, and—.” “A few weeks?!” She yelled. “You’re lucky

you’re not dead!” She looked down at the pig meat in my hand.
“If you’re hungry, you can borrow my furnace.” She handed me a furnace. “Thanks, but, what’s your name?” I asked as I laid down the furnace. “Oh, me? I’m Alex.” She said. “What’s yours?” “Luke.” I said.
We sat down next to the furnace. “Well, Luke, what’s your story?” I told her about the man in my dreams, the legendary ore, and how I’ve been out here for almost a month.
“Huh.” She said. “Cool story.” “What’s yours?” I asked.
“Well, I used to live with my friend, Steve.” She began. “We worked hard on our mansion. Then, one day, he was gone. He left a note, saying that he would be back and he’d just gone mining. Well, months went by and no sign of Steve.” She sighed. “I’m on a quest to find him.”
I felt bad, so I tried to cheer her up. “I’m sure you’ll find him.” I said with a smile. She smiled weakly back. “I hope so…”
A moment later, the food was done. I grabbed a pork

chop. I was about to take a bite, then offered it to Alex. “Want some? I have plenty more.” She hesitated, then nodded. I handed her the meat. “Thanks,” she said, then bit into it. I chuckled, then grabbed my own pork chop. It started to rain, so we called it a day and made an underground house.

Monday
I woke up to Alex. She was shaking me awake. “What?” I grumbled. “LUKE! LUKE! GET OUT OF BED!” She yelled. I groaned, then sat up and rubbed my eyes. “Why…?” I moaned, but she grabbed my hand and pulled me down a tunnel. “Come on!” She shouted. She pulled me down an entire maze of tunnels, and then we stopped when we reached a small ore pocket. A ore pocket of… white ore. “Wait…is that the legendary ore?” Alex nodded vigorously. “I know!
