A story to think about

Once upon a time, in a lush green meadow, there lived a speedy Butterfly named Rossie and a slow but steady Ant named Ash.
Rossie the rabbit was known throughout the meadow for her lightning-fast hops, while Ash the Ant was admired for his perseverance and determination

every day, as they met under the shade of a tall oak tree, Rossie couldn't help but boast about her speed.
"I'm the fastest creature in the meadow," she declared confidently. "I could beat you in a race without even breaking a sweat!"
Ash being wise and patient, simply smiled and said,
"Speed isn't everything, Rossie. Sometimes, it's the steady progress that wins the race."
But Rossie laughed off Ashs words, eager to prove himself.
"Let's race tomorrow morning then, Ash. We'll see who the real champion is!"
The next morning, all the animals of the meadow gathered to watch the highly anticipated race between Rossie the Butterfly and Ash the Ant.
The racecourse was set, stretching from one end of the meadow to the other, with a big oak tree marking the finish line.
Rossie dashed ahead with lightning speed as the signal was given, leaving Ash far behind. The other animals cheered and gasped at Rossie's incredible agility as he zoomed along the track.
Ash remained calm and focused, maintaining a steady pace as he plodded along.
Despite Rossie's early lead, Ash was determined not to give up.
As they reached the halfway point, Rossie took a break, feeling confident of her victory.
She lay under a bush to rest.
Meanwhile, Ash kept inching forward, step by step, never losing sight of the finish line.
Slowly but surely, he closed the gap between him and Rossie.
Rossie got struck herself in the spiderweb and couldn't help to come out.
When Rossie looked down and saw Ash approaching, she panicked and asked for help to go ahead as fast as possible.
But Ash who was above to finish the race decided to stop and help his friend Rossie.
All the animals were amazed.
Rossie was so Happy and pleaded and declared Ash as winner.
The animals erupted into cheers and applause as Ash was crowned the winner.
Rossie sheepishly congratulated Ash, realizing that speed alone couldn't guarantee success.
v
Rossie realized:
"it's better to win a friend than to win a Race"
From that day on, Rossie and Ash became the best of friends, each admiring the qualities that made the other unique.
And whenever they looked back on their famous race, they remembered the valuable lesson they had learned: that in the race of life, it's not always the fastest who wins, but the one who perseveres with patience, determination, and a steady heart not to just win the Race.
