Ellie, Sally, Tom, Kevin and Sue were good friends. One day they decided to go on a picnic. They met in the school canteen to make a list of things to do. They shared all the responsibilities of the picnic.

Ellie and Sally are responsible for the food and drinks, while Kevin is in charge of the barbecue. Sue will light the fire and Tom has to organise transport. 

On the day of the picnic, one of them forgot his responsibility.

    When they arrived at the park, the sun was shining and the weather was perfect. They unloaded their equipment and started to set up their picnic area. Ellie and Sally prepared the food and drinks, Kevin fired up the grill and Sue started the fire. Tom helped everyone unload the van and then went to park it nearby.

    Everything seemed to be going well until Ellie asked, ‘Where are the picnic blankets and chairs?’ Everyone was looked after, no matter who was in charge. Tom scratched his head and said, ‘I thought Sue was their child.’

    Ellie, Sally, Tom, Tom, Kevin and Sue's picnic began to work in complete harmony. Unfortunately there was a disagreement about Sue bringing a picnic blanket and chairs.

    As everyone looked at each other at Tom's announcement, a worried look appeared on Sue's face. She quickly looked around with her eyes and then quickly took her mobile phone out of her pocket. ‘Oh no!’ she muttered. ‘I forgot the blankets and chairs, they're in the car.’
