MY STORY

My story of using the YouTube app when I was in 6th grade when I was working on the project of biology and my father introduced the app YouTube to illustrate the concept of biology. I started using this app all time I need help with my study or need to gather information and this app play the biggest role to make my interest in science stream and help in the preparation of the 10 board exam.

In 2020, during the covid 19 pandemic, when direct interaction with teachers are challenging , my  teachers prefer to post video on YouTube and they sent us the link to watch the videos to study and even student have the option to watch the videos multiple times. The demonstration of the biology and chemistry experiments were done by teachers using the  different professor videos all around the world to make the concepts work more clear.

The role of YouTube in education

The most useful resource , for visualizing concept, is the YouTube .The most complex concept become easy when concept are visualized using this app. There are various other channels which I used to clear my doubts. As I mentioned that the 10 class board  coaching is not available near me so I decide to take help Massive Online courses because these courses are free courses where student can engage easily. 

The main think of this open classes it is that they provide the same attention to the same student as the student needed like in the coaching. However, I feel MOOC's are better as tutoring session.(MOOC'S,2010)

I use YouTube daily for around 5 to 6 hours for my learning and even for entertainment purpose. The data given here also reveal that there are 694K streams every minute on YouTube.(Domo Resource-Data Never Sleeps 9.0, 2024)

The YouTube usage

The preparation of class 10 board exam was started by me and continued for the 1 year and everyday I used this app to enhance my performance in each subject. My concepts become crystal clear after watching videos and there are multiple lessons on one topic which engaged me in the studies and there was lots of videos which motivated me when I loose my confidence and interest  in studies. The best part of studying!
