In the lush forests of the mountains, a battle began.

Chapter 1- A battle begins

    "Help!"A cat ran to help their wounded clanmate, He nudged his clanmate up, relieved to hear the words, "RETREAT! RETREAT!!" from their deputy, Blizzard Frost. Another clanmate came to help, asking if their clanmate was alright, The cat replied " She just made it." Turned out, that this cat was Hollowed Frost or Froststar, the leader of their clan. Together, as rain fell, they helped wounded clanmates back to camp.

    As the rain fell, the Frostclan warriors back at camp ran to help their clanmates, some licked at their wounds, while others cuddled up against them.  Froststar leaped onto the Snowrock and called the clan to a meeting. "I'm sorry we lost this battle, though I promised to win the Clearing, but we must prepare for the next time, so I will dedicate this day to these kits, Thorn Hollow, Snow Branch, and Bramble Tail. Come forward." He touched noses with the three kits, gave them their mentors, and wished them all luck in their training.

    The new claws stood out in the rain, pride showing in their eyes, behind them, their parents had watched the ceremony with pride and happiness. Their mentors happily swished their tails and led Bramble Tail, Snow Branch, and Thorn Hollow out to visit the borders and practice hunting and fighting. While the rest of the Frostclan warriors huddled in their dens, waiting out the rain, Froststar returned to his den, to rest and think about a battle plan to win the Clearing, his clan deserved.

    A few moons later, Froststar came up with a battle plan. The plan was that a few warriors would accompany him to confront Mudstar, and the rest of the warriors would hide in the bushes. He leaped onto the Snowrock and called a meeting." Frostclan!, Tonight, we will reclaim the Clearing!" His clan cheered with happiness and pride. " Some warriors will accompany me to confront Mudstar!" Lots of warriors asked to come with him, but he chose Tiger  Bush, Lion Wing, and his son, Rumbling Steel.

    That night, Frostclan rushed into battle, Mudstar had been surprised to see Froststar." Froststar, come to lose again?" he sneered. Froststar didn't reply, but gave the signal to attack, warriors rushed from every bush, springing on Mudstar. Mudstar fell under the weight of the warriors, and that night, he lost a life, and the Clearing was Frostclan's once more. Mudclan warriors glared at the Frostclan warriors because their leader couldn't come and the deputy, Grass Tail had come instead of Mudstar.

    Frostclan was luckier than Froststar ever thought, they had three queens, five new claws, and won more battles than they thought. But, in this period, Froststar fell ill and went to the stars. Blizzard Frost became Blizzardstar but in his heart, still had a small piece of grief for Froststar. He had led the clan through many battles and he knew stuff that Blizzardstar didn't. But Blizzardstar was determined to lead the clan with his nine lives just like Froststar had.

    Blizzardstar had led the clan without a deputy, and he had done great, but it was tiring, so he chose Tiger Bush as deputy, and that was the worst decision he had ever made because Tiger Bush had poisoned Froststar's food to make him die, hoping Blizzardstar would make him deputy. Blizzardstar saw what happened when he received visions from the stars. He saw Tiger Bush stuff yew berries into the rabbit and give it to Froststar as a gift.    

    The whole clan was avoiding Tiger Bush, Blizzardstar had told the clan what had happened and now, Frostclan had sent Tiger Bush into exile. The new deputy was Lion Wing, who worked hard to become deputy. Tiger Bush had teamed up with five other exiled warriors and together, they made Deathclan. Deathclan's leader and deputy were Tiger Bush and Black Slash. They decided to get revenge on the clans for exiling them, so they made a battle plan and prepared for battle.

    Deathclan decided to attack at midnight to surprise the clans. First, they would attack two clans in little groups. Black Slash would lead the first group to attack Frostclan, then, Tiger Bush would attack  Cloudclan. Then, they planned to do this until the clans were gone. But, Tiger Bush and Black Slash forgot that the camps now had night watch. So, the clans were warned that intruders were coming to their camps. Black Slash was killed in the action. Black Slash's death made Tiger Bush more evil and hungry for blood.

Chapter 2- Tiger Bush's revenge

    Tiger Bush will do anything to avenge Black Slash's death, even if it turns him evil.

Sitting on the Blood Branch, Tiger Bush sat vigil for Black Slash, his loyal deputy, who died to save him. He called a clan meeting."Deathclan! Today I will pick a new deputy, but there are some requirements to become deputy." He stopped for a second and continued." I will pick two warriors, and those two will fight to the death or until I tell you to stop. Do you hear me?" " Yes!!" Deathclan yowled. "Now, I  pick Broken Hollow and Leaf  Claw. Now fight!" Leaf Claw and Broken Hollow circled each other, hissing and arching their backs.

    As Leaf Claw and Broken Hollow circled each other. Arch Tail ran into the camp. " Help!" he yowled in pain."The clans are attacking!" Minf  Arch ran over to Arch Tail and healed him. Tiger Bush yowled to Leaf Claw and Broken Hollow" STOP!" The two warriors stop quickly. "We must prepare for battle, Deathclan, This is the time we can avenge Black Slash's death!" DeathClan stood with pride and lined up next to their leader, Tiger Bush. They charged out of camp, quickly followed by Tiger Bush with outstretched claws.

    As they charged into battle, there were no warriors from the rival clans. Arch Tail had lied! They rushed back to camp to find that their kits were gone. Tiger Bush knew that Arch Tail had stolen them. Arch Tail had come to them, offering battle moves and ways to hunt. But, Deathclan didn't think he was going to trick them. Meanwhile, in Frostclan's camp, Arch Tail set down the stolen kits, Hawk Tail, Moon Claw, Silver Wing, and Fern Tree. Frostclan had offered him a place in the camp if he stole kits from Deathclan and he did.
