My family consists of my mom, Laura, my dad, Rush my brother Kaden, and my grandma and grandpa, Jane and Mike. I have two dogs named Bella and Walter and a tortoise named Fred. 

and my best friend who is a part of my family as well, Emily.

A family to me is people that are always there for you, help you emotionally and inspire you in someway. In my opinion a family is a mom or dad with their child, or a married couple with no children!

There are 10 family forms, Single people, couple, nuclear family, single parent, blended, extended, multigenerational, adoptive, foster, separated, and co-custody!

My family fits into the nuclear family type because I have a mom, a dad, and a brother. A nuclear family consists of a mom,a dad, and their own children.
My family is also extended because I have an aunt, cousins, grandparents, etc!

The 8 stages of families are.. beginning stage, childbearing stage, family with preschoolers, family with school-age children, family with teens, launching stage, empty nest stage, and the aging stage.

The stage my family is in is family with teens because my brother who is 18 hasn't left the house yet.

There are 10 family functions are.. love and affection, religious education, education, adaptation, protection, procreation, economic support, recreation, socialization, and providing basic needs.

A family function we do is.. love and affection! We do this because we spend time with each other, eat dinner with each other once in a while.. and we tell each other we love you whenever one of us goes upstairs!

Another family function we do is.. education! We do this my parents send me and brother to school to learn.

My family is also a part of the adaptation function, this is because we have moved houses and have gone through people in our family passing away.
