Planting trees or flowerpots is so essential for students well-being at school. In this way our students learn about gardening and planting flowerpots , increase English skills, share their ideas, likes and dislikes on the eTwinning project "Everything Counts in Large Amounts". Moreover, our students try to learn about gardening in the other European school which is involved in our project and to meet new friends. That`s so exciting to observe students` reseaches what flowers are the most suitable for the classroom or the school yard and how to plant them.

Students from Croatian primary school Ludina decided to make a Japanese style garden in the school yard. It was the most interesting for them, because these gardens reflect peace and tranquility.
Here are some of their initial plans... Although all the plans seemed wonderfull, the students decided to go with the plan no.3.

The students selected and planted geranium and crown of thorns flowers based on their research and the conditions of their classroom. They are eagerly waiting for their flowers to bloom by watering them regularly.

Isn't it so cute?
Eyüp Sultan Imam Hatip Secondary School students planted apple and tangerine trees in the school gardens, taking into account the climatic conditions of the region where they live. These trees, planted in October, continue to grow as strong saplings despite all the difficulties of autumn. Students follow the development of these trees on a weekly basis.
