To the dreamers, adventurers, and storytellers—
May this journey inspire you to embrace the unknown,
seek the secrets of the past,
and carry forward the legacy of those who came before us.
And to my family, whose love and support light the path home,
this story is for you.

The alarm clock buzzed loudly, jolting Kaiman awake. He felt an intense weariness, as if he’d been sleeping for days. Barely able to open his eyes, he yelled, “Nova! What’s that noise? Turn it off! Can’t you see I’m sleeping!” But the alarm kept buzzing. He forced his eyes open and saw the white ceiling above him, blinking once, then twice—yes, the same white ceiling. With a jolt of fear, he scanned his surroundings and sat up on the bed, yelling, “Mom? Dad? Where are you? What is this place?”

” His eyes landed on a tablet on the table beside his bed. He picked it up, and it unlocked, showing a picture of his parents smiling at him. There was a message on the screen. He opened it and read: “Hello, our dearest Kaiman, We have a secret to tell you, one that has been in our family for generations. It is about a strange object we inherited: a small, colorful musical instrument called a Kalimba. Only the first button on it makes a sound, and when pressed, the name of an ancient city, Isfahan, appears. According to the accompanying letter, each button represents a city on Earth, from thousands of years before our time. The next button’s sound only activates if, in the displayed city, you perform a good deed. Following our ancestor’s instructions in the year 4024, the youngest member of our family must return to Earth in the year 2024 to solve the mystery of the Kalimba, or else our family’s lineage will end with you. We had no choice but to take the risk of time travel technology to send you back to Earth to save us. Please forgive us, and understand that if our lineage ends, the power of our planet will fall into the hands of enemies, and our people will be forever lost. Solving the Kalimba’s mystery is our only hope of survival. We love you dearly and pray each day for your safe return and success.
Mommy and Daddy

After reading the message, a strange feeling washed over Kaiman—a mix of fear and anxiety, yet accompanied by something unfamiliar: a sense of responsibility unlike anything he’d felt before. He realized he was now his family and planet’s only hope. Taking a deep breath, he looked at the colorful, mysterious Kalimba in his hand, which suddenly felt heavy and serious. Any mistake he made could mean the end of everything he loved. Kaiman gazed out of the window at the city of Isfahan, mesmerized by the turquoise domes, ancient markets, and cobblestone streets bustling with people who seemed calm and dignified. How strange this world, this Earth, was. Sunlight glinted off the colorfultiles of mosques and old buildings, making the city glow with life and history. The voices of street vendors calling from below gave him a familiar yet foreign sensation, like stepping into a distant past he’d only heard about in his parents’ tales of Earth’s history. So, for the first step of his journey, he asked Nova (AI technology in his watch) to gather information about Isfahan and Earth’s ancient cultures. This would be his first step in uncovering the truth and facing the challenges ahead on his journey across unknown cities
Upon arriving in Isfahan, Kaiman felt a heavy mix of responsibility and dread. Using Novo’s assistance, he quickly analyzed the surroundings and found his way to the Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Naqsh-e Jahan Square Stepping into the square, Kaiman was enveloped by its vastness and grandeur. Every step resonated with the sounds of history and Iranian civilization. Built in the 17th century by Shah Abbas, Naqsh-e Jahan was one of the world’s largest squares. Traditional shops and craft stalls lined the square, and the scent of saffron and spices filled the air, giving Kaiman a sense of deep cultural roots and heritage. As he lifted his gaze, the breathtaking beauty of the mosques and palaces around the square mesmerized him. The turquoise tiles and the stately Ali Qapu Palace pulled him into the depths of ancient Persia. The square was not only the commercial heart of Isfahan but also a place where art, culture, and the soul of its people converged. Lost in this historic setting.
