Wolverines large paws help them walk across snow, and                     act like snow                         shovels for digging!

Although wolverines are the largest of the weasel family, they still are pretty small, nearing around 20-66 pounds

Because of their tiny size big predators like bears and wolves like hunt to   wolverines

However, wolverines are very aggressive and have been known to fight larger animals than them.

Although mother wolverines will use their paws to dig dens in deep snow to keep their kits safe

Wolverines also have a very smelly odor, which helps keep unwanted animals away from their homes!

Hunting is also very important to wolverines since they are carnivores, which means they eat meat

But wolverines are very smart (and lazy), so they find food scraps from other animals' meals instead.

When they do hunt, wolverines have a really strong sense of smell, being able to        smell food from           far away or under snow!

Wolverines' paws are also helpful for when they hunt, being that their size helps wolverines cross       snow very fast.

Their claws are also great weapons! A wolverine's claws are very sharp and long, which could be lethal to other animals!

Not only that, but their claws are so sharp that they help with climbing trees!

Wolverines are very unpredictable, and might jump down from trees to attack other animals! They also will attack an animal that's bigger than them, sometimes even winning the fight!
