He decides to sculpt a wooden puppet called Pinocchio.

My son, your name will be Pinocchio!
Before sleeping, Geppetto makes a wish. That same night, while everyone is sleeping, the star comes down from the sky

I wish Pinocchio would become a real child
A blue fairy appears in the old man’s house with his magic wand and gives the puppet the chance to move and speak.
You must learn to distinguish good from bad

The fairy names the cricket as Pinocchio's conscience, who was secretly watching the scene

The next day, Geppetto sends
Pinocchio to school, like
all children his age.
But along the way Pinocchio meets the two swindlers, the Cat and the Fox, who invite him to join the puppet show at the Mangiafuoco theatre, instead of going to school.
Pinocchio goes to the Fire Eater's show without Jiminy Cricket's approval.
It becomes the main attraction of the theater and enjoys resounding success.
The two scammers led Pinocchio to Fire-Eater, a puppeteer who wanted to exploit him to earn so much money.

After the show, Pinocchio decides to return home to his father, but Mangiafuoco locks him in a cage to make him famous and earn a lot of money.
Meanwhile, Geppetto, worried about not seeing his son return home, leaves the house to go look for him.

At the sight of the blue fairy, Pinocchio began to tell many lies. His nose suddenly started to grow longer and longer.
The fairy explained that this was the consequence of his lies.
Pinocchio promises that he will be good and honest, the Blue Fairy frees him.
Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket leave the Fire Eater's wagon and then return home.
