My Lost Little Boy

                    I walk through the house

                        and call your name

                    You were like a little mouse

                        I don't like your game

                            I filled up your food

                        To me you made your way

                            I said I love you dude

                        now I say that every day

Check the Deck

                    As the day got dark

        I searched for you called your name

            I heard my dog bark and bark 

                    I felt loads of shame

                     We went outside

                    and checked the deck

                when you came out I cried

                My dear cat lost and found

                that's where we had to check

I'm sorry that I stepped on you

seeing you run made me blue

I couldn't see you lying there

I guess that wasn't that fair

Homework

When I heard the TV  blaring

When the light shone down

When I saw my brothers phone

When my pencil was moving

I thought The day would never end

The work got harder and harder

then the work got put away

And the book was pulled out

Phone-y baloney

I got home from school

then I waited for my dad

He came in with something cool

He had a drink in his hand

He said I'd be glad 

about what he had

It was a phone 

but there's a rule

No phone before school

The periwinkle land says I'm glad

The lavender boat means I'm proud

The shy hides in the sea great clouds

Violet is a calm sea

Indigo currents are filled with glee

Black comes in when I say goodnight

The World is a poem

A poem is a bird

As it's writer makes it soar
