In the pesantren, there is an extracurricular activity called scouting In scouting, there is an annual event called the "Santri Camp" (Kemah Santri). 

The scout continues their journey westward towards the second station, which is 500 meters away. Along the way, they hear the barking of dogs accompanied by footsteps. They try to stay calm in order to keep the water in the glass from spilling. However, suddenly, they see a shadow and hear the sound of footsteps behind them. To their shock, three dark figures begin chasing them from behind. In a panic, they scream, "Aaaaaahhh!" running as fast as they can. Without realizing it, they have already reached the second station.

At this post, the atmosphere is very different from the first one. This post feels like an old hut that has been abandoned for a long time, with a dim, flickering light bulb. The person gathers their courage to enter the hut and meets an elderly instructor who has several knife scars on his face. The member then hands over a glass of water, which is only one-quarter full. Afterward, the instructor gives instructions to deliver the semaphore flag to the third post as a sign that the mission, "Scream of the Night," has been completed.

He then continued his journey north for 800 meters. This part of the journey was the most challenging and nerve-wracking. As he walked, the trees and shrubs around him seemed to whisper, and there was a figure dressed in white hanging from a tree. Despite the eerie scene, he gathered his courage to move forward, knowing that in addition to carrying the semaphore flag, he had also been tasked with counting the number of steps from post two to post three.

Then, in the middle of the journey, he saw a figure in a black cloak standing and staring at him. Although fear crept in, he still mustered the courage to pass the figure. He also heard a hysterical crying sound coming from the bushes. Fear started to rise within him, but he kept calm, focused, and continued counting his steps until he finally reached the third post. He reported that the total number of steps was 920 and handed over the semaphore flag. After that, he was declared to have completed the "Scream of the Night" mission successfully.
