To all the Tod’s in danger.

I still don’t get it, how different could they
possibly be?

Mars
Roman God of War

Mars you can’t keep doing that, it’s not very divine of you.

Hades
Greek God of the Underworld

But it’s not fair! Not fair! Romans are so much better than Greeks! Gods and All!

Must you be so brash about it? If you're so confident then fine, let's have a little wager.
I’m listening…

Prove that the Romans are better, in all aspects of life, and I’ll admit defeat, I’ll let you go run off, doing whatever you so please.
And punch Zeus.

…And punch Zeus.

Yes! You’re on gloomy bones!

Well, It’s only fair to start at the beginning. Chaos, the ancestor of every Greek deity and God. From Chaos came Earth, (Gaia) Sky, (Uranus) Hell, (Tartarus) and Love. (Eros) Which then truly begins the reign of the gods as we know them today, Born from Deity’s own blood, or at the very least, half of a God’s…

….Gods and DemiGods alike are made with Divine ichor running through their veins. All spiraling with Zeus’ rebellion against his father and the tragedy of—
tragedy you wanna talk about tragedy? That’s nothing, Rome was built on tragedy!

It all began long ago when twin brothers, Romulus and Remus… they were left to die by their mother in the woods, luckily a nice she wolf raised them. Until one day many years later, the twins wanted to build a powerful empire to which neither could agree on the placement and more importantly the name.

Romulus was clearly in the right, and wanted to place this great city on top of a hill. Doing what he had to, he stabbed his brother and killed him… You know you actually remind me a lot of Remus… anyway, It's quite tragic.

As for our birth, it’s obviously better, with mommy and daddy gods…

You don’t even know what you're talking about! The Roman Gods didn’t have parents, not really, they were formed on ideas, concepts, whatever your people needed to have a god to pray to.

what… Well, even so, that just makes us that much better!
Oh come on! you're just a knock off version of us, even your so-called beginning, everyone knows your precious Romulus and Remus were descendants of one of our Trojan warriors! Warriors who were loyally dedicated to us! The Greek Gods, they built temples, sacrificed animals, dedicated gold! All for their saviors. Even holding grand and long festivals for us. You know the Olympics, that was our people’s way of pleasing their Gods. They feared us!

Rightfully so, they coward at the very names of us…or, my brethren, mainly that overconfident Zeus… they never dared utter my name, being the god of the underworld and all...

Knock off?! I’ll show you knock off when I punch Zeus in his smug flashy face! Anyway If your warriors were so loyal why would they Tragically abandon their children to wolves, doesn’t seem very loyal to me. If they actually cared they would have kept them and taught them about all your dumb things in Greek mythology. Even everything they do for you! You think that’s worshiping? Our people built temples, sacrificed animals and people, even gold … wait, no, but it's nothing like your people worshiped you! Where they feared you, they loved us, many even living in an attempt to get closer to us!

Use your head for once in your existence! Think of the countless stories within Greek mythology, think of the lessons learned from them: The Hubris of Icarus, destined to Fall, you must realize the dangers of flying too high..or low.
