Book is for 3rd-5th graders.

Once upon a time, there were three princesses of three different kingdoms. This story will follow these princesses: Merida, Mulan, and Tiana and great adventures are in store when they meet....

Merida lived in a Scottish kingdom DunRoch. She was born into being a princess, as she is the oldest daughter of the King and Queen. She had big, curly, red hair that she has no time to care for because she loves being outside. She denies the tradition of being a princess, as she loves archery, and does not have a desire to marry.

Mulan is from Northern China. She is a warrior, that fought to save her family from The Huns. That made the Emperor give her family high status, and consider her a princess despite not marrying into or being born into royalty. She loves and embraces her Asian culture and has high respect for the family ancestors.

Tiana is from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is very hardworking, and has a talent for cookinh. She was not born into royalty, but married Prince Naveen and both of them work in Tiana's Place, the restaurant Tiana dreamed of opening as a kid.

One day, Merida, Mulan, and Tiana all receive letters in the mail. They read: "Dearest Princess, there is impending danger coming upon your kingdom. The neighboring princesses must unite to fight against the ruthless Captain Hook. Meet in 2 days at the address and devise a plan on what to do."
The princesses were confused, as they weren't aware there were other princesses. But they decided they would go, to protect their kingdom.

2 days later, in the snowy mountains the princesses meet.
And none of them were impressed by the others appearance.

"Don't worry about it." Merida replied in a strong accent. Merida noticed Tiana's calloused hands, and the flour above her eyebrow. "Maybe you should go back to the kitchen, you'll do no good in combat." She huffed.
Tiana looked at Merida's unruly red hair. She couldn't believe this is what the other kingdom's princesses looked like. "What is up with the bow and arrow?" She asked.

The girls continued to size each other up, and bicker about their differences in upbringing and looks. Mulan tried to get in the middle, but to no avail.
"Ladies, how about we try to get along. There are greater matters at hand!" Mulan pleaded
"You stay out of it! You aren't even a real princess, you weren't born into royalty or married.. Why are you even here?" Tiana growled.

"You know what, fine! You aren't a warrior Tiana. Merida and I can take on Captain Hook just fine on our own, we'll go on without you!" Mulan and Merida stormed off to find Captain Hook, and left Tiana alone.
