It was summer. This day the weather was dry and hot.
But ants worked and worked. They had a lot to do before winter.

They built new rooms for children and barns for greenflies which were their farm animals. They worked all day but they didn't feel tired. They were happy with their life.

It's so boring to work all day! I don't want to work at all! Ants will work for me!
But then came the Colorado bug. He watched ants working and working. He didn't want to work. So he had an idea.

Finally night came. Ants were going home when the Colorado bug called them.
Good evening, my friends! How are you?

Good evening, Colorado bug! We are fine! We did a great job today!

There's no doubt, you are excellent workers! I am sure you have got everything

Oh yes! We have got family, home, food. Even in winter we are warm with plenty of food! That is why we work so hard all summer!

All summer?! And that is all that you've got?!
Some family, small room and old food... How unfair!
I can give you much more than your queen!

Suddenly ants stopped. They were surprised. The Colorado bug's suggestion sounded curious. How he could give them more than the queen?
One of the ants became angry.
'How can you give us more than our queen? Don't you dare compare yourself with our queen!'
But it seemed the other ants weren't so sure...

Well, you can always find me on the big potato.
The next day, an argument broke out between the ants.
"What if the Colorado bug is right?" said one ant uncertainly.
"We must find out this!" approved the other one confidently.
"You are crazy!" the third ant shouted in horror. "You want to betray your family, your anthill, your Queen!"
"No, we don't! We're just tired. Don't we have a right to live for ourselves?"
"Oh yes, you do have this right! So, go away and never come back!"

And so, when the night came, the two ants left their family, their anthill, and their Queen. However, one of them still felt uncertain. But the life without hard work seemed so good, that he couldn't resist.
And what about the other ant? He did not feel sorry. He knew he had chosen a happier life.
They were going all night. Finally, another day came. They were looking for the Big Potato. And they saw it. And they saw the Colorado Bug on it. One ant was afraid.
"Can't we return to our home now?"
"It's too late," answered another.

Hello, hello, my dear friends! I'm very glad to see you again! So, why have you come?
