This book is about the journey of a green sea turtle. On pages 3-19 you will see the story. On page 20 you will see the life cycle of a sea turtle.  Page 21 will tell you a little about green sea turtles. I hope you enjoy this book! - Ruby

Intro

Once, there was a sea turtle. Her name was Jenny. She went to the beach to lay her eggs .

Once she was done, she left and swam into the water.

Sally 

Coral

Trevor 

Two months later, the eggs hatched. Out came three baby turtles. Their names were, Trevor, Coral, and Sally.

 The young turtles made their way into the ocean. 

They swam until the water got deep. Then they went deeper underwater.  

They looked down and couldn’t believe their eyes.

 It was a giant coral reef! There were so many different colors of fish! It was amazing! But they knew they couldn’t stay there long. They had to go different ways and begin new  lives in the ocean.

They went different ways.  

After a few years Coral was ready to return to the beach that she was born at and lay her eggs.

She swam until the water got shallow.

Once the water got shallow, Coral "walked" the rest of the way using her flippers.
