Poppy was a little girl who loved to draw. She drew on paper, on the sidewalk, and even in the sand at the beach. But what she really dreamed of was a magic paintbrush that could make her drawings come to life.

One rainy afternoon, Poppy was wandering through her grandmother’s attic when she found a dusty box. Inside was an old paintbrush with a wooden handle carved with tiny stars.

As soon as Poppy touched the paintbrush, it sparkled like fireworks. She raced to her room and dipped the brush into her paints. “Let’s see what you can do!” she said.

She painted a big, fluffy cloud on her bedroom wall. To her

amazement, the cloud popped out of the wall and floated right in front of her! Poppy climbed onto it, and the cloud lifted her up, carrying her out the window and into the sky.

“Wow!” she exclaimed as she soared above the town.

But the adventure was just beginning.

Poppy painted a rainbow path in the sky, and the cloud followed it. At the end of the rainbow, she found a land full of colors—trees with bright orange leaves, rivers that shimmered in purple, and animals that looked like they’d jumped right out of her art supplies.

She met a friendly fox with fur as blue as the ocean. “Welcome to the Land of Color!” the fox said. “But be careful—the Color Snatcher lives here too.”

“The Color Snatcher?” Poppy asked.

The fox nodded. “He steals colors from our land to keep for himself.”

Just then, the sky turned gray. A shadowy figure with a sack appeared, scooping up colors from the trees and flowers.

“Stop!” Poppy shouted, but the Color Snatcher only laughed.
