What is an Airport?

LANDSIDE

The landside encompasses areas accessible to the general public, including passengers and visitors. This includes terminals, check-in counters, baggage claim areas, parking lots, and transportation facilities.

TERMINAL

Airport terminals facilitate passenger transfers between ground transportation and aircraft boarding/disembarkation. Concourses provide access to aircraft through gates.

CURBSIDE

Airport curbside facilitates efficient passenger traffic flow, with designated lanes for various vehicles.
