Chapter 1

         “The Beginning”

Once, there was a girl named Emma Stellwalk. She lived with her parents in New York, in a city called Brooklyn. She loved her life. Her mother, whose name was Katie Roy was a Mathematics teacher in a school named “Star and Shine School System”, (Also known as, “2S School System”).Her father whose name was Harold Stellwalk, was an engineer.

He worked in a company called, “Volt Cycle Engineering Organization”, ( They make machines and solve problems that people have related to technology). It was 6 days after Emma’s 9th birthday and it was late at night. It was 6 days after Emma’s 9th birthday and it was late at night. Her father had still not come home. Emma and her mother were very worried as it was 11:00pm and the original time of her father’s arrival at home was 6:30pm. It was getting darker and darker by the time when suddenly the main door opened and a man entered the living room with a delightful expression on his face.

Emma ran towards him and shouted, “ Daddy! Daddy! Why in the world are you so late? You made us get so worried. Mum thought that you had an accident or something and I thought that you had been kidnapped. We were so worried at that time and you have no idea how happy we are to see you right now!!!”, and after saying all this in a rush and an angry tone, she took a deep breath and hugged him tightly. “ Yes dear. What kept you so long from coming home at your original time? We really were worried. She’s right dear.”, said mum in a slow tone.“Okay. Okay. Stop climbing on me and stop throwing a bundle of questions at me. I have great news for both of you.”, said dad. 

Emma asked, “What is it daddy? Tell me. Uh, ummn. I mean us.”, she said, rather rapidly. “ Okay then. Hold onto your hearts, tell your lungs to stop giving you oxygen so you can’t breathe as you are going to hear a great, no wait. The greatest news of all time! I and my engineering team have created a new type of machine called, “ The Time Machine!!! ”. Interesting hmm. See? Isn't it so cool that we made such a machine? I’m so happy.”, he said, very overjoyed.

Chapter 2

           “The Time machine”

Emma was looking very confused and a lot of questions were bubbling inside her. As she couldn't resist it anymore, she blasted out, “Daddy? How the hell are we supposed to know what a time machine is? So sorry for the tone but couldn't resist the hilarious feeling of questions bubbling inside me.”, she added, as she was 

feeling guilty for the tone she used earlier to speak with her father. “It’s okay dear. No need to say sorry. It’s my fault that I didn’t explain the function ( use ) of the time machine before. I will explain to you now. So listen carefully. A time machine is a machine that can take someone to his or her past or show them their future.There is also a  realm ( place ) in the time machine which my team and I made ourselves so that if anyone gets stuck in the time machine and does not know the way to come back to the real world, someone from the reality can go there and get that person back. Now do you understand dear?, said daddy, politely.
