This book is dedicated to young kids who want to make new friends.

It was a calm morning in the coral reef, so Rio decided to take advantage of it and go for a swim. The past two days, the water had been very cold, and there were a lot of waves because of the storm that had passed through. Rio was very thankful for a nice day.

While Rio is swimming, he sees a shark swimming towards him in the distance. Rio really hopes that he can make a new friend and have someone to play with.

"Maybe I can make a new friend." Rio thought.

Once Rio and the shark are face to face, Rio finds out that his name is Buster. Rio feels a little nervous because of how big Buster is and is afraid Buster will not like him because of how small and different they are from each other.

"HI! My name is Buster, What is your name?" Asked Buster.
"M-my name is Rio." Stuttered Rio.
Rio continues on with the conversation and starts to feel more comfortable around Buster. Just as Rio is about to ask Buster what things he likes to do for fun, Buster asks him if they want to be friends. Rio does not hesitate and immediately says yes!

"Yes!" Exclaimed Rio.
"Do you want to be friends?" asked Buster.
Rio remembers that his mom told him to be home at sunset and realizes that it is almost that time. So, Rio tells Buster that he has to leave for dinner. They both decide that they want to play tomorrow after lunch, and Rio comes up with an amazing idea to meet up at a park named Coral Park.

"I forgot! My mom told me to be home at sunset for dinner and I can't be late." Said Rio.
"That's okay, we should play tomorrow after lunch!" Stated Buster

"We should meet at Coral Park tomorrow! It will be fun!" Shouted Rio.
"That's a great idea! I'll see you tomorrow!" Said Buster.

"Bye Rio!" shouted Buster.
"Bye, Buster!" Screamed Rio.
While Rio heads home, all he can think about is how excited he is to tell his mom that he made a new friend.

When Rio gets home, he sees his mom sitting at the dinner table waiting for him to eat. He immediately tells his mom about his new shark friend and how they are going to meet up at the park tomorrow after lunch to play, but he is confused because his mom does not say anything and sits there silently. A few moments pass and eventually, his mom nods her head signaling Rio to follow her.

"Mom! Mom! I made a new friend! He is a shark named Buster and is really nice, and we are going to play at Coral Park tomorrow after lunch!" Shouts Rio.
