This book is dedicated to athletes who struggle with confidence.

Raelyn was a young girl who loved playing sports and being with her friends. Volleyball was her favorite sport because she played it with her best friends. She loved going to practice and being around all her friends. Raelyn and a bunch of the girls gathered in the gym for tryouts. Everyone knew a few girls would be getting cut so everyone was nervous but Raelyn knew one thing, she loved volleyball and nothing was gonna change that.

"I'm so excited"

A few weeks later, it was officially the team's first game, and all the girls were a little nervous. As the girls were on the bus they distracted themselves by dancing to music and singing until they got to the game. But as the team started warming up they became nervous again. The game was filled with a lot of noise all you heard was, "Mine," "Got it," and lots of cheers. Raelyn and the team played a good game but unfortunately didn't win.

Every day before practice Raelyn went to see Rachel the Athletic Trainer to talk about her day. "Did you hear about the letter, " asked Rachel as she walked into the room. Raelyn looked at her confused and asked, "What letter?" Rachel pulled her phone out and began typing leaving Raelyn confused. Rachel shows Raelyn her phone and she begins reading the letter.

"What letter?"
"Did you hear about the letter?"
Raelyn tried to brush it off, she got on the bus and listened to music till they got to the game. When the game started, Raelyn's head was filled with all the horrible words written about her. "Greatest weakness," "Horrible player," "Shouldn't be on the team." "The other team aims for her cause they know she is not good." Every time the ball came toward Raelyn she was scared to mess up and let her team down.

"Shake it"
"It's okay!!"
"I should quit"
"Next ball"

The next day at practice, everyone could tell something was wrong with Raelyn. She wasn't laughing or messing around. She did the drills and said nothing to anyone. After practice Coach held back Amelia, Raelyns best friend. "What's wrong with Raelyn?" asked Coach. "Shes been off since the game last night, didn't talk to anyone on the bus either, " replied Amelia. This made Coach worry about Raelyn.

"She's been off since the game last night, didn't talk to anyone on the bus either."
"what's wrong with Raelyn?"
After practice that night Raelyn decided to put in some extra work. She grabbed a ball and started playing in her backyard. As Raelyn practiced she kept thinking about how she let her team down. The words in the email Rachel had shown her kept replaying in her head.
