Once upon a time, there was a big family of eight girls: Catherine, Liza, Rory, Amelia, Suzanna, Ophelia, Nora, and Jasmine.

One day their parents called them together to tell them a BIG surprise.

"Now that you're all here..."

As the girls were all sitting patiently, they suddenly heard, "OOOOH, WHAT'S THE SURPRISE!", squealed Jasmine, the youngest daughter. 

Everyone began to laugh at the amount of excitement she had.

The older girls, especially the eldest Catherine, knew that this surprise was not much of a surprise anymore.

"What is it?!"

"Well..."

"We're having another baby!", Mom said excitedly.

"It's another girl...", mumbled Dad.

The girls were thinking of baby names when suddenly Jasmine was nowhere to be found.

"We're having another baby girl!"

"Ohh"

Amelia found  Jasmine curled up in a ball under a blanket in her bedroom.

"What's wrong?", Amelia asked concerned. 

"I don't want another baby. I like being the baby of the family," said Jasmine.

Amelia had to think of ways to cheer Jasmine up and for her to be excited about the baby.

"What's the matter Jasmine?"

"I don't want another baby"

"Why don't we play a game together?", Amelia asked Jasmine.

"No"

"Okay, how about coloring?" 

"No"

"Alright, let's watch a movie"

"NO! I don't want to do anything or have another baby! It's not fair," Jasmine yelled. "She's going to have all the attention and no one will want to play or talk to me. I'll be all by myself."

"Leave me alone!"

"Let's play a game"

Amelia left the room and when she came back Suzanna was with her.

"When mom and dad told us that they were having Suzanna I acted just like you did, but then she was born and I knew we would be best friends. Now we are inseparable from each other," Amelia told Jasmine.

"But what if I don't like her, or she likes someone more than me? I'll be all alone again," whined Jasmine.

"Why did you bring her here?"

"To tell you a story"
