We dedicate this story to everyone who loves christmas and scary stories. We made a story for you all where we mixed those topics.

A long ago, the village of Lloret de Mar was famous for its cheerful Christmas spirit. Families sang songs, lit candles, and shared meals. But one winter, a terrible storm came by, bringing lots of cold so strong it froze rivers and prevented everyone from going outside and celebrating christmas. When the storm finally went away, the villagers built a big snowman in the town square as a sign of hope. But they didn’t know the snow they used came from the cursed forest of Rocagrossa. From then on, the snowman stood every Christmas Eve in the square. The villagers feared it because the said it had a really strange look in his eyes.

It was Christmas Eve in Lloret de Mar. Snow covered the village, making everything quiet. The square was empty except for the tall snowman. Its sharp nose and bent stick arms looked almost alive in the moonlight.
Children peeked from their windows, fearing it and ot daring to go outside, while adults whispered prayers and stayed away from the square.
No one dared go near the snowman because they remembered people disappearing on past Christmases. But this year, something felt different, some sort of fog started building up and the atmosphere started to feel strange.

Pablo, a traveler passing through the village, stopped in the square. He had heard stories of the cursed snowman but thought they were silly. “It’s just a snowman,” he said, laughing. The square was so quiet, the only sound was the crunch of his boots in the snow. Midnight was near, and the snowman’s shadow stretched unnaturally long, curling like fingers across the ground. Pablo felt a strange feeling.

As the church bell rang twelve times, a deep sound broke the silence. Pablo froze and couldn't mov . The snowman’s head tilted slightly, and its coal eyes started to glow red. A rough voice said something, even though its mouth didn’t move. “Free me,” the voice said, repeating itself in Pablo's mind. His heart stopped as he fell backwards, realizing this wasn’t a normal snowman.

Pablo turned to run, but the snowman’s stick arm moved, pointing to the edge of the village. “The key is in the forest,” the voice said. Pablo felt scared but also intrigued by the words. Against his feelings, he walked toward the forest, each step harder than the last, as if the snow itself wanted to hold him back.
