I love playing in the rain outside because of the big rain puddles!

I have to always wear, my jacket and rain boots because if I don't, I can have a Sickle Cell crisis!

Look guys every morning I have to take a certain pill that helps keep me from having Sickle Cell crisis.

When I have a Sickle Cell crisis that means my blood cells become stuck together causing it to block blood flow to certain parts of my body!

Staying healthy!!!

The crisis occurs in your chest, abdomen and other joints!

"Sounds painful right? It can be really painful, and it can sometimes last for a few hours.

wow!! So many red blood cells!!

The doctor instructs our parents to never put cold ice on the pain site while having sickle cell crisis because it can cause us to have extreme pain!!

"Say it with me!! "No cold ice while you are having a Sickle cell crisis only heating pads!!""

"Did I forget to mention that people who have sickle cell anemia have banana like shaped blood cells or blood cells that look like a crescent shaped moon?"

"Yes, I was surprised too because I thought I had actually bananas inside of me?? ewww..
