who finds magic in stories,
to every family who reads together,
and to the dreamers who know that books
can take us anywhere we imagine.

Mira loved the library, so warm, so bright,
The smell of old books, the soft rustling light.
Whispers of pages, a secret to keep,
Stories of heroes who woke from their sleep.
One day, while reaching for her favorite read,
Her fingers brushed something, a magical deed.
Behind the picture books, a door gleamed gold,
A secret door waiting, its story untold.

Her heart skipped a beat, curiosity soared,
She turned the cool handle, her spirit restored.
With a creak and a flash, the door opened wide,
A swirling bright portal—what magic inside!
Mira stepped through, her eyes filled with awe,
Books floating like clouds, characters stretched raw.
A fairy approached, with wings of stardust glow,
“Welcome to the Land of Pages,” she whispered below.

A dog in a monocle wagged his tail,
“We need your help!” he barked without fail.
“The magic is fading, the stories are weak,
Fewer children read; the tales cannot speak.”
A girl in armor, her eyes shining bright,
Stepped forward with courage, ready to fight.
“We must remind the world of the magic they bring,
Of the joy that a good book can spread with a swing!”

They journeyed to jungles, vibrant and wide,
Where birds sang and jaguars leaped with pride.
Mira and her friends helped a cub cross the stream,
The water, a diamond, sparkling like a dream.

Next, they were whisked to a market in bloom,
With spices and fabrics, the air rich with perfume.
A clever young boy solved a riddle with grace,
Revealing a treasure, its shine filling the space.

Then, a village appeared, covered in snow,
Where festive lights twinkled, a warm, friendly glow.
A family invited them to celebrate,
Music and laughter, the joy was so great.

Mira learned much from each tale they spun,
Unique customs, new words; traditions begun.
“Stories are bridges,” Mira said with a smile,
“They connect us all, no matter the mile.”
