"The authors of this book are the students of the eTwinning project called Self Portrait Collage."

I’ve taken one step closer to my dream; I’ll see the project called 'The Reflection of the World on Paper,' which includes a few books, under the sunlight. I’m hopping through the streets of Paris on my way there. I’m Defne, and let’s unite in our dreams together.
As soon as I step into the museum, I head toward the artwork that catches my eye. This piece, managed by Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Turkey, features depictions of Aydan and magnificent Greek statues. There are crescents, sunflowers, and rabbits symbolizing Anatolia around it… We’re trying to understand the creator’s imaginative world. The work

Stumbling once, her step dragged me along a bustling path as I followed her. With an excited smile on my face, I noticed a piece of art. Upon examining it, I realized that this work, created by Dr. Sadık Ahmet Anatolian High School in Turkey, depicted the early 19th century and the beauty of the old English, with a distinct approach. At the center of the piece was an angel statue that felt close to me, radiating calmness. Like a savior descending from the heavens with divine power in its hands, it represented beauty and compassion alongside monsters and blood-sucking demons. We could also see the angel figure on a guitar. This artwork had an energy I couldn’t fully explain. I’m not sure if it made me feel good the way it was supposed to or not, but I’m certain it brought forth a new piece from the storage of emotions. Though angels and blood-sucking demons didn’t seem to harmonize, they were trapped on the same canvas, whether they wanted to be or not. So, I think this canvas reflects the good and evil within us. It might be one or the other at your core, but at the end of the day, we are both, and there’s no escaping that.

The artwork atop the artwork had been altered. After the previous canvas, I still couldn’t pull myself together and tried to merge with the complexities of my inner world. It wasn’t until I saw a new canvas that, the moment I fixed my gaze on the landscapes, the jumbled images in my mind cleared away.I noticed that this piece, replicated by Dr. Sadık Ahmet Anatolian High School in Turkey, revealed depictions of books, cats, some popular brands, and much more. I couldn’t help but giggle to myself because this artwork felt so warm inside. Looking at it was no different from slipping into innocent dreams. Strangely, it felt nostalgic, like the smell of the hot tea I drank as a child. If I could describe this artwork in one word, I’d say 'warm.' Because a part of it carried another dream and another story. When looked at closely enough, you could see some images from the Renaissance in this artwork. There’s no doubt that this piece has so much to explore. We’re not just looking at the canvas—we’re diving into it. We’re uncovering the small, shapely dreams it holds and the curiosity it sparks. We’re looking at something else, something that lets us find a piece of ourselves.

What I saw was her artwork in someone else’s world, a story I couldn’t fully grasp. As I moved forward, I fell into a void, not realizing I had returned to where I’d been before.
At first, I was a bit confused and looked around, until another collage caught my eye. This piece, crafted by Ankara Music and Fine Arts High School, reflected respect and love for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and great leader of Turkey, and his monumental brother, Anıtkabir. It also conveyed Atatürk’s love for art. I felt a comfort, as if music were almost enveloping me. We met music in a strangely intimate way. The artwork also communicated a deep respect and affection for Turkey and its founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The magnificent Anıtkabir was highlighted in the spotlight alongside Turkey’s most popular actors and cartoons. As I examined the intricate details of the artwork, I felt a warm, joyful smile spread across my face.

Suddenly, a clicking sound came from the wall. Curiously, I walked toward a new collage. A beautiful girl with long, shiny black hair and deep dark eyes was wearing a green paper dress adorned with small green beads, like pieces in a pot. She was sweetly bringing me to life. A 7th-grade student from Iulia Hasdeu School in Galați, Romania. They’re fascinated by the decorations of everything around them. Her mind is creative, her heart dedicated to beauty, to things that change and encompass others. We’re cutting pictures, snipping, pasting, matching, and then doing it all over again. French and English are her best friends. If you visit this museum, you shouldn’t miss her collage

I rushed through another door of the museum, just to find a collage with a little gracious ballerina girl who is dancing and singing, swirling around in her ballerina shoes. It's a delicate ballerina from Secondary School No.16 in Galati, Romania. She is so delicate and fragile that someone could take her for a porcelaine doll. The world of music and dance is a magnificent one. It's a world that enchants your ears and caresses your heart. Let it be all around you!
