How we transform our school to become Greener!

 This year our school was selected to participate in a National Program called "Prasinizo" that is funding schools to become greener! We integrated this program in our  eTwinning project:

 "Active citizenship make a democratic Green school"   and we share our Green Great Activities

We made an outside classroom in the garden from "Prasinizo" and we made Lessons related with nature

We recycle, reuse plants that we cut and we also make compost!

We created one more outdoor classroom from "Prasinizo" and there we were making observation of insects and collection of natures treasures!

We played survivor games with recycled objects!(carton boxes, bottles, bottle lids)

We  made  a competition in our school for the best Carton paper mask! Recycling is creative and helps our planet!

We made a competition of cleaning our neighborhoods from rubbish  and we gave award to those that they made the difference with their families!

We made a campaign for collecting 

home cooking oils to be recycled in our school. Oils destroy the soil for plants,  so we must recycle them.

Tiganokinisi Caravan with Akti visited our school teaching us about recycling oils, water and electricity saving and how to make woodchips from our  garden branches

We made a sample lesson presentation to parents in Clil  with  a Natures content story: "Wow said the owl" and we presented songs "Rainbow" and " "I am a tree"
