We create a book with information about recyclable items. Schools in pairs write information about the materials they choose ( plastic, glass, aluminum, paper, e.c) One school writes and the other makes a drawing.

Plastic
Plastic is a versatile material that has become an integral part of our daily lives. Despite offering numerous benefits, its non-biodegradable nature poses a significant environmental challenge. However, many types of plastic are recyclable and offer a sustainable solution to reducing plastic waste. The recyclability of plastic depends on its type, which is usually indicated by a number inside a recycling symbol. Plastics with numbers 1, 2 and 5 are generally the easiest to recycle and are widely accepted in most recycling programs. The plastic recycling process usually involves collecting, separating, cleaning and reprocessing plastic waste into new products. This helps to conserve natural resources, reduce energy consumption and minimise the amount of waste sent to landfills. By understanding the different types of plastic, supporting effective recycling programs and reducing our reliance on single-use plastics, we can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Glass
Here are some reasons why it is beneficial to recycle glass:
We don't throw dirty glass bottles into nature, so nature is clean; We save energy by not having to make new bottles. By recycling one bottle, we will save as much energy as it takes for a 60 W light bulb to light up for 4 hours, a computer to run for 30 minutes, and a television for 20 minutes. Also, we save space in landfills and reduce environmental pollution.
Glass is almost an ideal material for recycling, because it can be recycled and reused almost infinitely. We have water containers when we paint, from baby food; we keep paint brushes in decorative used jars from mom and dad's coffee. We decorated these jars with napkins and glass paints.

Paper
Recycled paper is then recovered and re-registered to re-register new paper products. The paper recycling process includes various services such as collection, separation, shredding, pulping, cleaning and drying the paper. Recycled paper can be used to make various products such as newspaper, cardboard, tissue and office paper. Recycling paper helps to save natural consumption, waste and energy. It also helps to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills. The paper recycling industry is constantly evolving with the development of new technologies for the continuity and sustainability of the recycling process.
