It was a spring morning when Lara ventured into the forest near her house. The sun's rays filtered through the trees, creating patches of golden light on the path. Lara loved getting lost in the greenery of nature, but that day something special pushed her to go further than usual. A mysterious voice, which seemed to come from the heart of the forest, called her, and Lara, curious and courageous, decided to follow it.

After walking for hours, Lara came to a clearing she had never seen before. In the center, a large rock jutted out of the ground, surrounded by strange plants that glittered as if made of crystal. But what immediately caught his attention was not the beauty of that place, but the powerful and vibrant sound that came from the depths of the clearing. It was like a roar, but deeper, like the beating of an ancient heart. Lara approached slowly, her steps uncertain.

Suddenly, the ground shook beneath her, and a gigantic figure emerged from the rock. It was a dragon, but not just any dragon. His scales shone like molten metal and his gaze was gentle, despite his imposing presence. "Welcome, Lara," he roared in a deep, but non-threatening voice. "I am Eldrin, the guardian of the forest. We have long awaited your arrival." Lara, in disbelief, approached, feeling an enveloping heat emanating from the creature.

Eldrin explained to her that dragons were the guardians of an ancient magic, kept in the heart of the earth. Only a few humans were able to sense this magic, and Lara, with her pure heart, was one of them. "But why me?" the little girl asked, still shaken by the revelation. The dragon smiled, his smile full of wisdom. "Because, Lara, you have the ability to listen to the earth and the sky, and your courage makes you special. Our mission is to protect this balance, and you can help us."
