Chapter 1: The Mystery of the Classroom

It’s a normal day at school, but something feels different. The students are whispering among themselves, and there’s a tension in the air. The History teacher, Mr. Almeida, mysteriously disappeared during the class. The students are worried and speculating about what might have happened.
As you observe the classroom, you notice three students are discussing in a low voice:

Marta, the most popular student, says she saw Mr. Almeida leave the room in a hurry before disappearing.
Ricardo, a shy student, mentions that he heard a strange noise coming from the classroom cupboard.
Sofia, the new student, claims she saw a strange shadow passing by the window.

Chapter 2: The Encounter with Marta

You decided to ask Marta what she saw. You approach her and, with a curious look, ask:
— Marta, what did you see before Mr. Almeida disappeared?
Marta looks around, making sure no one is listening, and responds in a low voice:
— I saw him leave the room with a worried look. It seemed like he was running away from something. But I couldn’t see what it was.
As you talk to Marta, you notice she seems nervous. Suddenly, the bell rings, and all the students begin to leave the room. Marta suggests that you should investigate together.

Chapter 3: Marta’s Theories

Chapter 4: The Investigation Team

You decide to suggest that everyone join together to investigate. Marta smiles, excited by the idea, and João seems enthusiastic.
— That’s a great idea! — says João. — The more people, the more clues we can find.
The three of you decide to form a small investigation team. Marta suggests that you start in the teachers' room, where Mr. Almeida used to spend a lot of time.
— Maybe there’s a clue there — she says. — What if he left something behind?
You head to the teachers' room, but the door is locked. Looking around, you notice there’s a slightly open window.

Chapter 5: Entering Through the Window

You decide to try opening the window and enter the teachers' room. With a little effort, you manage to push the window up enough for everyone to pass through.
— Wow, that was clever! — says João as he enters the room. Marta follows right behind him, and you’re the last to enter.
The teachers' room is messy, with papers scattered everywhere. The smell of coffee still lingers in the air, and there’s a desk full of books and documents.
As you look around, notes and reports catch your attention. One of the documents seems recent and has Mr. Almeida’s name handwritten on it.
Marta finds a box on top of a shelf and opens it. Inside, there are several old photographs of the school and a small diary.

Chapter 6: The Revelatory Document

You decide to read the recent document you found on the desk. When you open it, you realize it’s a report on an investigation Mr. Almeida was doing about a series of strange events that occurred at the school. The document mentions disappearances of objects and rumors about an ancient artifact that was supposedly found during the school’s renovation work.
As you read, one phrase catches your attention: “The legend says that whoever touches the artifact will be haunted by an unknown force.” The report ends with a note of concern from Mr. Almeida about the safety of the students and the need for further investigation.
— He was investigating something serious! — says João, looking at you and Marta. — We need to find that artifact before it’s too late.

Marta, with a determined look, suggests that you search the area where the artifact was supposedly found. With the new information, the team decides it’s time to act.
You leave the teachers' room and head to the location indicated in the report. When you arrive, you find a small storage room that seems to have been forgotten. Inside, there are stacked boxes and, in the back, an old box covered in dust.

When you open the box, you find a shiny object that seems to be the artifact mentioned in the report. As soon as you touch it, a strange sensation fills the air, but nothing supernatural happens.
— We did it! — exclaims Marta. — Now, we need to return this to the principal and tell everything we discovered.
With the artifact in hand and the truth revealed, you head back to the classroom, ready to tell the story of what happened. The mystery of Mr. Almeida’s disappearance is finally solved, and the school can return to normality.
