Timmy and Lucy are two curious friends who love space. One night, while stargazing, they see a shooting star. To their surprise, it stops and turns into a glowing, friendly alien spaceship. The alien introduces himself as Zor, the Space Explorer. Zor offers them a ride
to explore the Solar System.

Zor explains that he has visited every planet in the Solar System, and now
he needs two brave explorers to help him collect information about each planet. Timmy and Lucy excitedly agree and step aboard Zor's spaceship.

Departure from Earth Zor's spaceship lifts off, and soon they leave Earth behind. The children look out the window and see their planet becoming smaller and smaller. They begin their journey toward the first stop: the Moon.

They land on the Moon. Zor explains that the Moon is Earth's only natural satellite. Timmy and Lucy hop out, wearing space suits. They jump in the low gravity and have fun, but Zor reminds them that the Moon has no air to breathe or water to drink.

After a quick ride through space, the spaceship zooms to Mercury, the closest
planet to the Sun. Timmy and Lucy learn that Mercury is very hot on one side and freezing cold on the other. It has no atmosphere to protect it from the Sun's heat.

Next, they travel to Venus, the second planet. Timmy and Lucy are amazed by
its thick clouds of acid. Zor explains that Venus is the hottest planet, even hotter than Mercury, due to its thick atmosphere that traps heat.

They return to Earth for a quick pit stop. Timmy and Lucy wave to their families from the spaceship window. They realize how lucky they are to live on a planet that supports life, unlike the other planets they've visited.

The spaceship heads to Mars, the red planet. Timmy and Lucy explore the dusty surface, finding large canyons and ancient riverbeds. Zor tells them that scientists believe there may have once been water on Mars, and it might have supported life.
