Elif had decided to use the internet more responsibly after the class discussion on digital ethics. One day, she saw a mocking comment about one of her classmates on the school forum. The comment had been liked and shared by many people. Elif felt that it was wrong, but she wasn’t sure what to do. If she ignored it, she would be staying silent about something unfair. But if she spoke up…

She couldn't stay silent about something wrong and this would put Elif's mind at ease. Elif thought about how she would object to the incident and an idea came to her mind. She politely warned the people who made bad comments about her friend, but they didn't listen to Elif's warning and continued to cyberbully Elif's friend. Elif got very angry about this situation and...

Please don't mock...

She decided to find a solution. Elif thought about it for a few days and then decided to consult her friends. One day, while browsing the school's website, she came across a survey. It was about a potential art workshop at the school. She immediately shared this information with her friends. They were going to share a survey to end cyberbullying. But...

Can you help with our survey?
Never!

However, things didn’t go as expected. After sharing the survey on the school’s website, some students responded positively, while others didn’t take it seriously. Elif and her friends didn’t want to give up. That’s why they decided to contact the school administration. The principal appreciated their efforts and said that he would support the students. Elif and her friends decided to prepare a presentation to raise awareness and organize an event that the whole school would attend. This way, they would both increase the impact of the survey and raise awareness about cyberbullying. Elif knew that this process wouldn’t be easy, but she was determined to succeed with the support of her friends.

As the day of the event approached, Elif and her friends worked tirelessly to finalize their presentation and activities. On the morning of the event, students gathered in the auditorium, curious about what was about to unfold. Just as Elif stepped onto the stage to begin her speech, an anonymous message popped up on the school’s online forum—someone was trying to sabotage their efforts by spreading false rumors about the event. Elif’s heart pounded. Would this attempt to undermine their cause discourage everyone, or would they stand together and prove the power of responsible digital citizenship?

Elif took a deep breath and looked at the crowd in the hall. Her eyes stopped on the faces of her friends and teachers who supported her. She knew she had to be confident. She took the microphone and began her speech, keeping her voice as clear as possible:
"We are gathered here today because we believe that change is possible. We all advocate for the importance of accessing accurate information and acting responsibly."
As these words echoed in the hall, some students noticed the message on the forum and became uneasy. Although whispers spread, Elif continued to speak. Her friends quickly took action, preparing an announcement explaining that the message was false and sharing it on the forum.

Although Elif creates suspicion with a message she wrote on a forum, she breaks the silkllkence in the hall and continues her speech with determination. Her friends investigate the source of the message and provide evidence with video and technical analysis. At the end of the video, the message "Not all information is true. Truth is the reward of those who research." is published. As the hall is filled with astonishment and applause, Elif not only wins, but also reinforces her belief in the group's power to produce together. Her little brother shouts to announce that Elif has won. This moment is the triumph of Elif's creation of a community that seeks the truth in the digital world and her belief in the power of SOCİety.

After Elif's presentation the school principal took the microphone and said” In this are, we can't imagine a life without the İnternet. However, we should use the İnternet knowing our digital responsibilities. We should not forget that every move we make on the İnternet has a digital footprint and we should know that what we do is not loss”.
We found those who did cyberbulling bu following these traces, but I want these people come and explain why they did this, so I think Elif's presentation will have achieved its purpose.
There upon, two students stood up and went to the principal’s office.
