This book is dedicated to all those who achieved great things in life despite having limited resources.

In a favela in Rio de Janeiro, where the golden sun illuminated the dusty streets and the echo of soccer balls bouncing against the walls was the melody of hope, Thiago "Tigre" Santos was born. Raised in poverty, his only valuable possession was an old leather ball that his father had given him before disappearing into the misery of the city. With that ball, Thiago learned to dream.

From a young age, he spent hours playing barefoot on makeshift fields, dodging stones and debris as if they were rival defenders. Despite the difficult situation at home, with his mother working day and night to support his siblings, he never abandoned his passion for soccer.
At the age of 12, his talent caught the attention of a scout who organized youth tournaments in the slums. He was invited to a trial at Flamengo's youth academy. Thiago arrived nervous, wearing borrowed cleats and a torn jersey, but with a talent that overshadowed any adversity. In the trial match, he dazzled everyone with his speed, dribbling, and a goal that left the coaches speechless. He was accepted into the academy.

The following years were tough. He woke up before dawn to train, traveled long distances by bus, and studied at night. Sometimes he went hungry, but he never lost his determination. At 17, he made his debut with Flamengo’s first team, and within a year, he became the young star of the squad. His name began to be heard all over Brazil.

It wasn't long before European clubs took notice of him. At 19, he signed with Barcelona, fulfilling a dream that had once seemed impossible. In his first season, he helped the team win the league with his explosive speed and goal-scoring instinct. Soon, the whole world was chanting his name.
