THE STORY OF THE  LITTLE BEE MAYA

One morning in May, the little bee Maya woke up, gently poking her head out of the cover that had sheltered her in the honeycomb. She looked around and saw the commotion in the hive. The worker bees were just leaving to collect nectar from the flowers, others were coming to feed the young, others were busy in the hive. Only a lazy drone was sleeping. She looked around in amazement. he wanted to fly, but she didn’t know how yet. Then...

Then, Maya took a deep breath and stretched her tiny wings. She felt an exciting buzz in the air as the worker bees rushed past her.

 - Today is the day! she thought. I will learn to fly!

She wobbled to the edge of the honeycomb, her little legs trembling. Just then, an older bee named Bella landed beside her.

Maya moved from one flower to another. She carefully gathered more pollen. The sun felt warm on her tiny wings. She felt happy and proud.

"Am I doing it right?" Maya asked.

"Yes! You’re learning fast," Bella said with a smile.

Maya buzzed with excitement. "I can’t wait to tell the others!"

But the sky became a little cloudy.

Maya the Bee raised her beak and saw a flock of birds following them.

”Danger! Danger!” Bella shouted. ”The bee-eaters are following us! They want to eat us!”

”What should we do?” Maya asked scared.

”Let's hide under the petals of this poppy!”...

Maya and Bella felt scared  and kept waiting quietly. After a few minute,they thought that the danger was over.They took a deep breath.They came out of their hiding place and smiled to each other. Just then they heard a voice.

A bee eater shouted:                                        

 -Look!There are two bees over there!

They were shocked all of a suden.They didn't know what to do.All the bee eaters saw them and they wanted to catch Maya and Bella.

-Fly,fly ! Be quick! They are coming!

Maya flew and flew.He didn't know where he was going.

She felt sleepy and tired. 

Suddenly she was stopped by something sticky. 

She panicked and she didn't see the spider  ...

  Și așa, Maya a ajuns în siguranță la stupul ei. Era foarte fericită să fie din nou acasă!

Arriving at the apiary, Maya was a little different from the others. He had a hairy blond body, big curious eyes, and most importantly, endless questions. On the very first day, he began to walk around the hive and ask everyone questions:
