This is a picture of the dodo bird that I'm going to explain about. It's a bird that lives in the Mauritius island, East Madagascar.

With that being said, let's discover more information about this bird!

There are many depictions about the appearance of the dodo bird since not many people has seen it and they can only rely on its skeleton or unclear sightings.  I would say that it looks like a hybrid of chicken, duck, and a female turkey.

It's around 60-75 cm in height, which is considered large for a bird. Its weight is around 17 kilograms to 21 kilograms.

 Its feathers are thick, with the color brown, gray, and yellow, perhaps with a fuzzy texture too.

It has a sharp, pointy, and curved end on the tip of its beak.

Although it's mostly coated with feathers, it has a bald face, only covered with skin. Its feet is similar to a chicken's feet. And it has small, weak wings, which makes it a flightless bird.

Because of the shape of its beak and its disability to fly, it mostly consumes berries, nuts, and fruits that has already fallen to the ground. But it's possible that it eats little crabs and snails too, similar to a modern duck.
