Questo libro presenta alcuni lavori realizzati da studenti di diversi paesi che hanno collaborato con entusiasmo in un unico progetto. Oltre a documentare alcune delle attività, intende offrire ispirazione e strategie pratiche agli educatori che desiderano integrare l'insegnamento STEM in contesti collaborativi nazionali e internazionali.

One of the biggest problems of our age, perhaps the most important one, is environmental pollution, which threatens life and the continuity of nature. There are many factors that cause environmental pollution. The most important of these factors is probably factories, since we are in the age of rapid industrialization. Factories cause many types of pollution, such as air, water, soil, images and even noise.

We designed a waste battery box for recycling with our students. The children put the waste batteries they collected into it. When waste batteries are released directly into nature, the heavy metals they contain such as lead, mercury, and cadmium can mix into the soil and water, causing serious environmental pollution. These toxic substances can affect many natural elements, from vegetation to groundwater.
