Chapter 1: Earth's Rotation
The Earth rotates from west to east, which appears as a counterclockwise spin when viewed from above the North Pole.Because Polaris is located very close to the north celestial pole, the point in the sky directly above Earth's rotational axis. The daily motions of the objects that seem to rise in the east and set in the western sky is due to the Earth's rotation on its axis from east to west. The axis of rotation can be explained something like,an imaginary line or point around which an object rotates, with all points on the object moving in circles around that line. The reason why we have day and night can be defined as two simple words:Earth's Rotation.
Interesting Fact:
Earth rotates around its axis at a rate of 1,000 miles per hour.

Chapter 2: Earth's Revolution
The Earth has something called a revolution and it can be defined as the movement of the Earth around the sun in a fixed path. The earth's elliptical orbit can be defined as an oval-shaped path, like a slightly elongated circle. Some major effects of the Earth's revolution include the seasons, influences the length of day and night, and contributes to the distribution of sunlight and heat across the planet, that leads to variations in climate and weather patterns.Perihelion can be classified as the point nearest to the sun in the path of orbiting celestial body(such as a planet). The Aphelion can be described as the
point in the orbit of a planet, comet,or other body most distant from the sun.We see different constellations at different times of year because the Earth orbits the sun,and our perspective of the night sky changes as we orbit around the sun.
Interesting Fact: The largest constellation by area is Hydra which is 3.16% of the sky.The smallest constellation is Crux which takes up 0.17% of the sky.The word "constellation" comes from a Latin term meaning "set with stars.
