Last year Amanda wanted to join Bozcaada Vintage Festival. It was her first experience in such an amazing festival. She really liked it when she turned back to her hometown She wanted to share her ideas with her friends so she made a brief presentation to tell this amazing festival to her friends.
Amanda starts telling........
Every year, Bozcaada, the charming Turkish island, is transformed into a vibrant celebration of wine, food, and culture during its Vintage Festival.
The streets are adorned with colorful decorations, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of freshly pressed grapes.
The festival, celebrated with much enthusiasm, is one of the island’s most anticipated events, where tradition and taste blend in perfect harmony.
The festivities begin early in the morning, as the island’s vineyards, where the grapes are grown, are visited by visitors eager to witness the harvest.
The grapes, carefully picked by skilled hands, are brought to the wineries, where they are transformed into rich, aromatic wines.
During the festival, wine tasting stations are set up, and glasses are filled with the island’s finest reds, whites, and rosés. These wines, which are praised for their unique flavors, are enjoyed by guests throughout the event.
Alongside the wine, the food of Bozcaada plays a starring role. Local specialties, such as kumru (a type of sandwich filled with sucuk and cheese) and deniz börülcesi (sea beans), are served at every corner.
The island’s famous seafood is also featured, with grilled fish and calamari being prepared over open flames. These dishes, made with the freshest ingredients, are served on plates and enjoyed by festival-goers, who savor each bite under the warm sun.
