Mrs. Smith had a major impact on my life. She influenced me to be a teacher growing up. While being a student in her class in 4th grade I looked up to her and knew I wanted to be like her when I was older. Now, I am going to college at Iowa State University to be an elementary teacher so I can be the best teacher just like she was. I always remember being so excited to go to school each day because she always made the class so enjoying. Mrs. Smith was for sure one of my favorite teachers that left an impact and many memories that will last a lifetime, and I hope to be as amazing of a teacher as she is when I finish college.
Ms. Smith left a mark on my education. I would always play school with my friends and I always chose the teacher role. I would also call myself Ms. Smith because I looked up to her so much. My teacher would hand out awards and once you got enough for something bigger I once one the “teacher for a day” award. This was my favorite thing ever. Ms. Smith always applauded us when doing things right and would always be there for us. I was always so excited to wake up and start my day by going to her class.
Ms. Smith was always so positive and always there for us. I remember this time when I had the classical 4th grader drama and we had to sit down and talk with Ms. Smith. She was there to help us solve and resolve the situation. My friends and I always had drama and she knew what to do and this is why I enjoyed having her as my teacher. My senior year of highschool we were told to bring in a teacher who we thought left a mark on us. I brought Ms. Smith to my senior night basketball game and red her a paragraph in front of the whole crowd about how much I appreciated her. She then came to my graduation party at the end of my senior year. This felt so crazy to me because it felt like time had moved so fast since I left her classroom. I can not wait to be in a classroom and start leaving impacts on students like she did to me.
